Local law enforcement agents arrested a suspect early Friday morning at an Odessa hotel, several hours after a Midland bank was robbed.
Mark David Willmann, 42,was charged with bank robbery, a federal offense. U.S. Magistrate Judge David Counts granted a temporary motion by the U.S. Attorneys Office to hold Willmann without the possibility of bond.

Law enforcement agencies received tips identifying Willmann from a photo of the bank surveillance video released to local media outlets shortly after the robbery .... MPD officers, working with FBI agents, found Willmanns residence at the Chaparral complex after the tips were received. Investigators found several practice bank robbery notes in the trash at the apartment. The notes stated this is a robbery, dont use dye packs and dont use GPS. Detectives also found a gray Adidas sweatshirt that matched the description of what the the bank robber was wearing according to witness statements and surveillance video ...

There is an invention called a shredding machine.
For all we know, there was a post-it note at his domicile, “Note to self: buy a shredder with some of the robbery proceeds.”
Obviously, he hadn’t thought about that. I wonder if he practiced walking into a bank.
For the same of humanity, I do hope that he has not passed on his genes.
Texas has the three strikes law. Once he leaves Federal prison, he will be turned over to Texas authorities to serve out the rest of his life in Huntsville.
BTW, it will not be hard for the Texas authorities to charge him with something. There is no double jeopardy between Federal and State courts.
