VANITY- My conversation with Josh at the RNC- No wonder our Republican party is falling apart

Oh my gosh! I am so very mad I am still shaking. I called the RNC today to get the definitive answer on the Florida delegate count. I was transferred to a young man named Josh and what ensued was the most infuriating, while enlightening, conversation that I have had in a long while.

I first asked my question about the delegates. His convoluted answer was basically that they couldn't impose two punishments, so the one punishment imposed was taking away half of their delegates. I asked him about that rule, was that in writing somewhere. He then proceeded to tell me that he thought that it was funny that no one had a problem with the rule until Newt Gingrich lost and now Gingrich wants to challenge it. Mind you, I had not mentioned that I was a Gingrich supporter. He said that it basically didn't matter anyway. The race wouldn't be that close. Several other things were said about Gingrich, with a tone that made it perfectly clear that he supported Romney and despised Gingrich.

Well, I was getting pretty mad at this point. So I said that the average Conservative voter was pretty upset about the establishment trying to shove Romney down our throats as the "inevitable" candidate, just like they did McCain and Dole. He said, "Newt Gingrich is more of an establishment candidate than any of them". I talked about ruling class and the fact that all of the elite, inside-the-beltway Republicans and Democrats all hated Gingrich for a reason and that intrigued me. He then said that the Democrats would LOVE to have Gingrich as their candidate because they know that they could beat him! Wasn't this guy supposed to be neutral? I was quite mad by now. I said that the Democrats are actually dying to run against Romney, a silver-spoon, live in a bubble being groomed to run for president, multi-millionaire Wall Street guy. He then said, well Newt Gingrich is a multi-millionaire! Uh, hello?!

I asked him what he thought about the false ads that Romney and his supporters were running attacking Newt and his Reagan connections. He said that he didn't live in Florida and he didn't see the ads! I said that he sounding like Romney! Then I said, you work in the political office of the Republican party, shouldn't you know what is going on in all of the campaigns, especially if it is making news. You know that we have this little thing called the "internet" where you can go to see videos. He changed the subject.

THEN he launched into the most shocking attack on Gingrich that I could have imagined. He said "well, this guy has had three wives and investigated the president for cheating on his wife while he was cheating on his wife. Don't you think that is hypocritical?" !!!!!!

I was floored! I said, did I call the RNC or the DNC?!?! I then asked him how old he was (25) and was he really around to pay attention to the impeachment trial in the 90's? He said yes, Newt was investigating a guy for having an affair while he was having an affair and that was hypocritical. I practically screamed at him "it was not about sex, it was about lying under oath!" He then said that the speaker of the house should not have been investigating him in the first place, since he was having sex with another woman at the time. Picking myself up off the floor, I yelled that the investigation was started because of Paula Jones. He said that she was just a slut. I said that she had a legitimate harassment suit against Clinton and he was called to testify under oath and he lied! Josh said that he shouldn't have been investigated in the first place! WOW! I then asked him if he thought that perjury was a crime. He said yes but the House investigated and the Senate did not convict him. He said that the Speaker brought embarrassment on his whole party by investigating Clinton and bringing Impeachment charges. Unbelievable...

I then thanked him for showing me exactly why my Republican party is falling apart. I told him that it is because of people like him that our party has lost its footing, its vision and its mission. I said because of people like him we would end up with 4 more years of Obama and our country no longer resembling the United States of America.

I then hung up the phone and called Newt's office. I relayed everything that this "neutral" kid said to me. Needless to say, they were shocked. As was I..... I hope that I have conveyed my conversation in a way that makes sense to everyone. But I felt that I should share my experience so that we all know that the enemy is inside the gates.

Why is this guy constantly making appearances with people like Nancy Pelosi, Al Sharpton, and other vile Democrats?

If he was still in office I could see it, but this guy has no more business than I do to make appearances like these as a private citizen today.

I haven’t attended an event in my life where Democrats appeared on the platform, let alone these types of Cretans, and the idea I would stand on the same stage with them... LOL.

Screws, nuts, and bolts...

Wow, Hillery-babe-care looks really young. How old is this picture? My word she has aged. The guy behind Newt looks familiar. Do you recognize him?

He was lobbying both sides of the isles. But to say that is a big no, no, but it is still true.

RE :"Wow, Hillery-babe-care looks really young. How old is this picture? My word she has aged."

A search tells me this was 2005, 11 years after Hill-care was defeated and ~7 years ago. Newt looks older now two.

I am wondering if Hill-babe got revenge on Bill for his cheatin with a bit of cheatin herself, do we know anyone she did business with that is capable of cheatin?

Not accusin, only the establishment would do that :)

I wondered about that. once I did the opposite while not paying attention and it scared the heck out of me, fortunately it was a tame one and no-one seemed to pick up on it.

Yep, she's definitely a tough one when determined. I was getting sweet on her when she was doing the Newt-truth-file posts, but her flipping 180 degrees on him broke my heart.

I have found that the creatures who frequent the swamp (Washington, D. C.), generally seem to want to cultivate comity between themselves and all the other creatures, no matter how vile they be.

I believe these photos display an example of that.

BTW: I hear ya...

I loved it when Newt shut the government down in the 1990’s. I wish we could not only shut down the Government but eliminate most of the agencies. Is Santorum more predictable than Newt? Yup. But I prefer Newt to Romney. : )

RE :”I loved it when Newt shut the government down in the 1990’s. I wish we could not only shut down the Government but eliminate most of the agencies.

It was cool until about the third shutdown week when Newt complained to the MSM about his seat on AF1 and it made him a national joke starting with a SNL skit and Dems offering to get him better seats if only he would open the government, then Republicans dived in the polls

Clinton rose in the polls and congressional Republicans got spooked and Newt ended caving sending BC the CR he demanded all along. It even included full back pay for the gov workers for the time they were off shutdown three weeks.

I had a friend here (Maryland) who got hired by the government direct in Sept 1995 and not long after she got three extra weeks off paid, and a fourth paid week off for the January 1996 blizzard.

The fact that Newt had to pay them for the extra time off further peed off the voters as it cost even more,

Newt never looked the same after that. A shame after a great 1994 win.

That’s Newt’s major weakness. He allows his political enemies to get in his head. So, big deal he sat in the back with reporters. He could have used that time with the reporters to his advantage, like calculating the amount of taxes saved.

But Newt is the only Speaker who had balanced budgets and managed to reverse the welfare state just a bit. Compare Newt to Madame Peloser. We don’t even have budgets anymore. Worse yet, we have jacka$$ Hoyer claiming we don’t even need budgets anymore. WTF!!!!! Compared to that, Newt is a dream date. ; )

Steep decline in federal employees in the '90s. Looks like it started under the Bush recession, but I'm going to assume Newt's Congress had a lot to do with it continuing to decline after that, since under the Democrat Congress in the '80s it stayed flat, and it was flat again under the Bush years after Newt was gone. http://www.angrybearblog.com/2007/06/comparing-presidents-size-of-government.html
