Mitt Romney had a horrible, horrible night. Early yesterday, Mitt Romneys campaign called Missouri a beauty contest and said to focus on Colorado. We did. Wow.
Ive said since Sunday that yesterday would be the first day of voting that Mitt Romneys poor comment to Soledad OBrien would have an impact. It typically takes a week for comments like that to be digested by voters. Six days after Romney opened his mouth, Rick Santorum swept the night.
From Missouri to Minnesota to Colorado the Republican electorate sent a very clear signal they want conviction over electability. They do not like Mitt Romney. They see Santorum as authentic. They see Mitt Romney as a fraud. Rick Santorum swept the races. Romney, the front runner, got crushed by conservatives.

His adopted/step father is a career military man.

Didnt the US have some kind of fast track naturalization in place then ??? The dad of one of my friends, now deceased, was Canadian. He became a US Citizen while serving in the US Army in WW-II. He had documentation of same and was proud to show it.

the evidence strongly indicates Santorums eligibility I agree, but as President Reagan said, "trust, but verify."
If Catherine has the document she should make it public.

I suppose that you're trying to imply that former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum is not a natural born citizen therefore ineligible for the Presidency? I'm implying no such thing.
Personally I believe Dr. Aldo Santorum did naturalize during his US Army service during WW-II. Catherine claims to have the document, which she should make public.
As President Reagan said, "trust but verify."

Sarah Palin is also speaking. She will be the star of the event.

Romney will be very lonely among so many real conservatives. Msybe he can pick up some literature. If he actually read Golwater, Hayak, Locke, Schlafly, Reagan, etc, he might actually understand and be able to convincingly espouse conservatism.

I joined the army in 1959. The citizenship thing was still in effect them. 3 people in my outfit in Germany joined to get USA citizenship, two Mexicans and one Swede. They all stayed the course and received their citizenship papers upon discharge.

Also when Aldos father became an American citizen his wife and minor children would have automatically became citizens at the same time...

The wife of Aldo was Catherine E Dughi born 1918 in PA. She was a US Citizen at birth before Aldo was born in 1923.
Their three children were Barbara born in 1957, Rick born VA in 1958, and Daniel born in 1959. All three had a US Citizen mother so they'd have derived Citizenship though her even if they hadn't been born in the US.

Pietro Santorum born 4 Jan 1887 was listed as an Alien in the 1930 census of Somerset County, PA. He completed a WW-II draft form in 1942. No citizenship is on that form.
Catherine, ricks mother claims Aldo became a Citizen during and because of his US Army service in WW-II. She didn't claim it was due to Aldo's father becoming a Citizen.
