We no longer have a government. They are passing secret legislation. We are officially, a Tyranny.

It's all over but the shouting. I am leaving this country soon.

Notice to our "elected" national criminals.
Enough is enough.

In order to safeguard the rights of the terrorist culture and their supporters, you insist on destroying the rights of all of the remaining 315,000,000 residents of your country.
And use it as an excuse to reward your "business" contributors.

Nice.
Real nice!

We had the opportunity to get rid of the senile main criminal Reid, and blew it. Did he really get elected legally?

We need a recall movement for that Nevada crook NOW!

We need to start using liberal arguments against this.
Teens are going to "do it anyway" so you can't really enforce anti-piracy. It's not steal steal, you know, it's just teens doing what they do. If both the uploader and the downlaoader are underage, then it's not even a crime really. The best we can do is give away free anti-virus software to prevent those who are enganging in this kind of activity from getting unwanted and harmful computer viruses.

In addition to this being just what kids these days do and there being no real way to stop it, we must also accept the fact that the poor will be hurt the most by these anti-piracy laws. Let's face it, "pirate" is just a code word for poor inner city people of color. These discriminatory laws harken back to the Jim Crow laws.

I'm sure I could go on...

Bring it on, Harry.

One of these days Twitter or Facebook is actually going to end a politician’s career.

I sincerely hope it is yours.

I just had the creepy feeling that they are going to succeed in passing to signature a comprehensive bill that will effectively shut down all sites with conservative messages or information, just before the elections.

Thanks again Smirking Chimp Bush and {Mr Internet Database} former Attorney General Gonzales for giving Dems bad ideas that dumb Republicans first supported. Even the so called Republican lawmakers in Tennessee are trying to start databases on new law abiding criminals on state level.

Hate to be the one to tell you, but all this Internet censorship stuff is bipartisan. Lamar S. Smith (R-TX) introduced SOPA and was a staunch defender. Quite a few Republicans were behind PIPA.

Also, if this is the next generation of the “Internet kill switch” legislation, what you’ve heard is BS. Not ONE person has been able to show me in the text of the bill where the “kill switch” language was.

This appears to be SOPA and the Fairness Doctrine, and “Hate crimes” legislation written into one bill. It would allow, for instance, the Obama Administration to go after sites like Free Republic for criticizing him.

SOPA and PIPA were once popular in the House and Senate but enough people pitched a fit that it is unlikely either will pass.

Again, remember we had to get in their face to stop these stupid bills.

Creating another stupid bill with the same crap is not going to make us go away. We need to lean on Congress, harder.

I have written my Congressman, to wit:

“As I've said in previous correspondence, I am absolutely against the SOPA/PIPA bills. These bills are a monstrosity to our freedom and liberty. You agreed. You said you would not support them. Now Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is planning another bill, with the same freedom and liberty abusive language and penalties. ENOUGH! We are not so stupid as to stop defending our liberties just because they clothed the old bill in a new name. Please let me know you'll oppose this new bill as you did the previous two!”
