Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, following a recent anti-piracy legislative debacle with SOPA and PIPA, will lead his second effort of 2012 to push Internet-regulating legislation, this time in the form of a new cybersecurity bill. The expected bill is the latest attempt by the Democrats to broadly expand the authority of executive branch agencies over the Internet.
Details about the bill remain shrouded in secrecy. Clues available to the public suggest that the bill might be stronger than President Barack Obama’s cybersecurity proposal, which was released in May 2011. Reid said that he would bring the bill — expected to come out of the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee, chaired by Connecticut independent Sen. Joe Lieberman — to the floor during the first Senate work period of 2012.

Teens are going to "do it anyway" so you can't really enforce anti-piracy. It's not steal steal, you know, it's just teens doing what they do. If both the uploader and the downlaoader are underage, then it's not even a crime really. The best we can do is give away free anti-virus software to prevent those who are enganging in this kind of activity from getting unwanted and harmful computer viruses.In addition to this being just what kids these days do and there being no real way to stop it, we must also accept the fact that the poor will be hurt the most by these anti-piracy laws. Let's face it, "pirate" is just a code word for poor inner city people of color. These discriminatory laws harken back to the Jim Crow laws.
I'm sure I could go on...
System being overwhelmed---The vast majority of citizens still in the dark about what is happening, and virtually no leaders in the country willing to sound the alarm and give a big-picture overview of the systemic corruption of our government and the decimation of our Constitution and the liberty it guarantees.

I just had the creepy feeling that they are going to succeed in passing to signature a comprehensive bill that will effectively shut down all sites with conservative messages or information, just before the elections.
