...any recommendations, Suggestions?
If it’s for work... keep a regular phone for talking... and get a tablet if you need mobile computing.
Don’t be afraid of things Apple. They do work, quite well.
By the way, Halliburton is leaving Blackberry of iPhone...

The “keypad” touchpad on the iPhone is big enough to see and Verizon is much better than AT&T. I believe there are more apps available for the iPhone as well.
Anything except a Blackberry IMHO, I need reading glasses to see the keys and they are much too small if you have sausage fingers like me.
You’re smoking crack Mike..
If you have an iPod, get an iPhone...one less gizmo to figure out. AND it’s a really cool phone.
I love mine!
The top of the line phone right now is the Samsung Galaxy S2. I have one thru Sprint.
Very powerful, lots of memory, and a very big screen.
Only $200 with activation. I strongly recommend.
Of interest to the List?
My upgrade is next month...I’m going with the new Iphone that Verizon has. Google Android can KMA..I would have stayed with a DROID but Google changed my mind.
Microsoft can’t afford to get out, unless they want to essentially leave the consumer market, because everything is going portable from desktop to cellphones and tablets.
They’ll be fine.
It’s Blackberry I’m concerned about. They’ve had a three years and it doesn’t look better for the next year for them.
ping to read th answers...I also need a new phone...and another laptop. I bought a cheap Dell and it has died. Never again. Any suggestions on laptop would be helpful...can I replace a laptop with an iPad? Really?
Thanks for letting me tag along on your thread, ‘vet!
BTW I seldom use the 4G. I keep it set at 3G. Saves some battery life. There are newer models that show videos in 3D, but I think that's a useless feature since watching videos on a phone just seems silly to me.
Got burned by those early Razors, huh? I’m sorry to hear that you dislike them that much. They have a rep as being a pretty solid platform, even though there were notable cock-ups like those Razors.
I’m on Verizon, and my Windows Phone (HTC Trophy) is the best phone I’ve ever owned. Yes, I’ve had a Droid and an iPhone. The level of integration and ease of use is amazing. I’m hoping that Big Red will offer one of the new Nokia phones or something like the Titan, soon.
Alice makes a very good point, Navy Vet. What machine do you normally use? Windows? Mac? Linux? Weigh that when you go to the micro-mini computer that is a smart phone. It’s wayyy more computer than phone, and you should at least try something that is similar to what you already know.
Toshiba makes very good consumer laptops.
I’ve had mine for about 7 years and it still performs pretty decently.
I run a Samsung infuse 4G here and wifey loves her iPhone4 .. shop around. we’re at+t for now.. and ever I reckun. Good luck.

I had the 8350. Great for music out of the speakers. I had it for years but it started acting up. Would shut off every time I slammed it shut.
Now I have the Samsung Convoy. Got it free from the IT guy at work. It's like the LG but a lot more durable.
Sometimes I wish I had a smartphone but I would get into trouble with it at work.
Yes.. your rambling is incoherent...
