This is an incredible mistake. The fact that a wide majority of people had no idea they were funneling cash to Planned Parenthood actually provided a backstop to the fallout from cutting it off. How many of those will cut off donations to SGK, now that they caved to the fascists?
And that’s right - no one likes a flip-flopper.
Unreal.
As far as I am concerned, it is finished as an organization.
Give directly to the American Cancer Society.
saving lives by aborting others.
liberal mindset for a future full of ‘equality’.
Sure, like Coca-Cola caved when New Coke bombed.
In other words, many of us think this was their plan all along. Get the faithful on each side to pour gobs of money into these organizations for a few days. Then, put things back the way they were while laughing all the way to the bank.
I always wondered if this Komen gang might be just another bunch of militant leftist baby-killing feminazi b*tches. Now we know.
Why does Komen have to partner up with PP and not just provide fancial help for examines some other way?
This definitely goes down in marketing history as an EPIC PR FAIL.
To many women are for the killing of their children. I am not surprised by this.
Ping
They think it’s not criminal for PP to aid pimps of underaged sex slaves in evading the law?
Incredible.
I hope the people who donated since Komen said they weren’t going to fund PP can get their money back. I have refused to support Komen because of this. And it looks like I’ll have to continue refusing to support them.
And when I spoke to somebody from Komen about it I specifically mentioned their support of Planned Parenthood as the reason - particularly given that scientists have now documented the mechanism by which first-trimester abortion of first pregnancies (especially among teens) CAUSES breast cancer.
To claim to be fighting breast cancer while supporting the largest organization counseling and performing acts on women that will CAUSE breast cancer... is, quite frankly, false advertising, a deception, and despicable.
I cannot support Komen. And the whole thing pretty much sours me on the whole pink ribbon thing too.
Ah, maybe that’s why the ribbon is pink, huh? The red blood on white hands mixes to make pink.
Disgusting. Because of loved ones with breast cancer we’ve donated to them and walked, now they can forget it.
Absolutely disgusting, but not surprising to me.
Our fantastic local conservative talk radio host - Jim Vicevich - tore the Director of the Susan G. Komen Connecticut chapter a new one this morning over this reversal. She insisted that Komen gives funds to Planned Parenthood "because PP provides breast health treatment and education". Yet she admitted that PP does NOT provide mammograms, and she was very vague in describing specifically what "breast health treatment and education" that PP supposedly provides is.
Vicevich got her to admit that she has no idea if $$ donated to Komen would end up paying for abortions at Planned Parenthood. Vicevich reminded her that the donation money given to Komen is fungible, thus impossible to track where exactly the money goes once it gets into Komen.
LOTS of irate callers this morning - mostly women - who had no idea that Komen has been supporting Planned Parenthood for so many years. All callers said they would stop giving money to Komen and/or participating in Komen run/walk races which raise money for the organization.
I will continue to give to other organizations seeking cures and treatments for cancer, but the Susan G. Komen charity will continue to not get a dime from me.

The pink ribbon is dripping with the blood of the innocent.
Like Pilate washing his hands, it's the color of the water in the bowl after rinsing bloody hands ...
Powerfully stated.
Seems to me that more human beings have been killed by ABORTION than by all the wars we have ever had.
bttt
the Komen corporation has dirty fundraising hands.
this is and was ALWAYS about money. period.
This was NEVER about abortion (pro or against)
There are so many other more worthy organizations who are far far better at fundraising.
