But, just speaking politics, this guy has no clue on how to run the bases- hes never had to hook slide into second.. This is a guy who learned an easy way to win every game- one just buys off the umpires.
In sports, buying the officials is not fair competition- and in America, buying off politicians to enhance your wealth is neither free enterprise nor capitalism.
As a person who loves sports- I believe in fair competition. And as one who loves the Founders America, I disdain the plutocrats that would return the Divine Rule of Kings,
Newt pinG!
Newt was fantastic! please tell me how anyone could listen to what Newt says and NOT vote for him? is it true that Romney will only get 10 delegates in Fla? LOL and he spent 25 MILLION in the state?
Saw him tonight. He was sharp and on it, although I’ve been watching him a LOT and he’s beginning to sound a tad bit repetitive on some points.
However, he came out of the gate running and provided that strong contrast. Santorum came on next and looked like crap —
Newt does MUCH better in terms of explaining what he’d do in office.
Just stay on message, Newt. Put it in the simplest terms. Show the strongest contrast ...and your Soros ad is FANTASTIC!!
I’d say this — stay away from attacking Mitt and INSTEAD, just relentlessly hammer on how bad it is in the country RIGHT NOW AND WHAT YOU WOULD DO ABOUT IT in this country. Jolt the sheep out of their slumber ... people aren’t being told the struth of the state of the union at the moment ... they continue to be distracted. by the Super Bowl, by this, by that ... no one really gets it.
He ought to say ...if you think my baggage is a problem ...you ain’t seen NOTHING yet, Americans, like the problems YOU are going to have, if we allow this country to stay on the current path!!
Screw You! Mitt will help you find your planet. Viva Romney!!!!
****************
Truth hurts, eh my friend? -:)
huh?
What’s wrong with you?
Florida is TBD.
What is interesting in that the complaint was filed by delegates and the Florida Attorney General. Michael Steele and others at the RNC favor Newt’s position. In other words, most of the folks who AREN’T Newt Gingrich and have the standing to do something about it are in agreement that Florida should follow the rules.
This may very well happen.
Mitt commented today that “it would have been nice for Gingrich to challenge before the results.” I think that weak response is probably due to the fact that his own campaign lawyers and advisers have informed him that Florida may very likely have to follow the rules, which is bad news for Mitt. They are preparing for bad news after the spend-a-thon in FL.
I thought the interview was very focused and positive. Regarding all the attack ads and how to handle them, I heard an experienced political strategist on Fox say the best way to handle them is to be like Reagan. Stop and briefly say “There you go again,” go into a brief rebuttal and then put it behind you and get back on message.
If you are unable to comprehend my posts, you have no standing to invoke Cato.
Methinks you forgot the sarcasm tags.
I saw Newt on Hannity tonight and I thought he was great. I don’t think Romney can spend $18 million in every battleground state. Newt will be coming out any day with his finalized Contract for America and if he just sticks to it I think he will get the momentum back. He is going to do very well in the deep south.
Go Newt!! You can win the nomination!! Then on to the General!!! I can’t wait to call you Mr. President
Why does FOX have that annoying pop up that got Mitt’s whining on it?
“please tell me how anyone could listen to what Newt says and NOT vote for him?”
Simple, they don’t trust him....Newt has a long past and a lot of baggage. The Willards negative ads have had a huge effect in reminding people about Newt.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m voting for Newt, but holding my nose to do it. I’m settling for him because I feel he is the most Conservative left in the race. Plus I think he is the only one with the stones to attack 0bama, which has to be done to win.
Everyone on the right is very cynical about politics and people running for office. We aren’t like the Democrats who love their elected candidates and blame the Republicans for everything bad. Our side knows a lot of our guys are just as bad as the Democrats. We want a real Conservative to win, but that person isn’t running. So a lot of us settling for Newt. We don’t trust him, but we are going to roll the dice and take our chances.
You betcha!
He can win this! And he will! With our hard work!
GO TEA PARTY!!!
GO NEWT!!!
