Saw him tonight. He was sharp and on it, although I’ve been watching him a LOT and he’s beginning to sound a tad bit repetitive on some points.

However, he came out of the gate running and provided that strong contrast. Santorum came on next and looked like crap —

Newt does MUCH better in terms of explaining what he’d do in office.

Just stay on message, Newt. Put it in the simplest terms. Show the strongest contrast ...and your Soros ad is FANTASTIC!!

I’d say this — stay away from attacking Mitt and INSTEAD, just relentlessly hammer on how bad it is in the country RIGHT NOW AND WHAT YOU WOULD DO ABOUT IT in this country. Jolt the sheep out of their slumber ... people aren’t being told the struth of the state of the union at the moment ... they continue to be distracted. by the Super Bowl, by this, by that ... no one really gets it.

He ought to say ...if you think my baggage is a problem ...you ain’t seen NOTHING yet, Americans, like the problems YOU are going to have, if we allow this country to stay on the current path!!

“I’ve been watching him a LOT and he’s beginning to sound a tad bit repetitive on some points.”

That the way campaigns always are, a lot of people are hearing these issues for the first time, so he has to repeat them.

I was a captive audience in 2004 since I was in the hospital duting the last months before the election.

Talk about repetitve, I had to hear Bush say “Jobs Americans Won’t Do” over and over and over again.

It was sickening .
