NEW YORK — New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg is giving up to a quarter-million dollars to Planned Parenthood to offset funds that were cut by the Susan G. Komen (KOH'-men) for the Cure breast cancer foundation.
Spokeswoman Samantha Levine said Thursday the mayor has promised to match future donations to Planned Parenthood, up to $250,000.

While I’m not pleased with how he used his money; I am pleased it’s PRIVATE funds and not taxpayer funds that are going there.
