I'm sure the Obama folks will have a field day with this, One “Daddy Warbucks” endorsing another “Daddy Warbucks”.

I’m not surprised. Trump goes with what’s a sure thing in his eyes. He doesn’t really have any core values.

I have never considered Trump as a conservative, so this just confirms what I already believed.

Unfortunately, I suspect this will help Mitt-“I’m not concerned about the very poor”-Romney.

Not surprising. Trump has a record of donating to Democrats and to a few RINOs. After all, he is a crony capitalist, who speculates in real estate and gambling casinos, and you need the pols on your side for that.

Quite early, I speculated that Trump “attacked” Obama on the birther issue in order to put it to rest, and that worked pretty well. Obama needed an excuse to produce a new long-form COLB about three years late, and Trump gave him that excuse. And he timed it to come right before the bin Ladin raid. And then Trump dropped it—even though the new long-form COLB is an obvious forgery.

That also explains why the left-wing talking heads on TV gave Trump so much air time to do it. The White House gave them a little nudge, saying that would be OK.

Trump is anything but a conservative.

So it seems Trump was worried that a conservative might get nominated...that's why he was holding out the third party threat?

And just a small "I told ya' so" from those of us who kept saying Trump was no conservative.

Good. Romney is the perfect candidate for Trump to endorse. They’re both complete and total phonies.

If true, they deserve each other. I was actually worried when it was stated yesterday that Trump would endorse Newt. Trump is one bombastic mouthpiece that Newt does not need.

Gee....maybe he can get the Waltons, the Bloombergs, the Kerry’s, and Richie Rich to endorse him, too.

Must keep it in the club.

Let’s see, how can we spin this, let me count the ways. So, if Trump endorses Romney; he’s really trying to help Newt ...and if he endorses Newt he’s really trying to help Romney ...and either way Trump is endorsing Trump!

Boooo! hiss! hiss! Booooo!!! *throws maters*

Ah well, means Trump is doing Trump a favor, if it had been Gingrich it would have been to support a candidate. This most helps Trump, not Romney.

I guess both with goofy hair and the you’re fired line...they go hand-in-mitt.
