How many Benjamins will be stuffed into his suitcases? We will find out what type of person Bachmann is.

Conventional wisdom says she should run from this, but she blew through a boatload of her congressional war chest so she is going to need some money.

I gotta hand it to Mitt. He knows how to work for this nomination. Why is Newt not in Minnesota? Mitt is such a jerk so hopefully this does not work.
To: bbernard
If MB endorses Romney, I will beleive every ounce of her conservative, God fearing credentials were a fraud.

Mitt makes another Niccolo Machiavelli move right from the play book.

I will never vote for Romney, not even if he gets Bachman, or someone similar, to agree to be his VP.

From the article:
Not only would it add to the impression of Romney consolidating the GOP base after rebounding in Florida from his South Carolina loss, but it could help Bachmann by earning her an ally to help her pay off her lingering campaign debt.
If she does this, she has sold her soul ....

She better not. She’s my Rep. If she plans on running for office again, and endorses Willard, I will do everything in my power to see she loses to a real conservative.
Only through duplicity could someone so pro-life endorse someone who is openly pro-choice.

Well, she wasn’t wildly popular to begin with, so I’m not sure this is going to help him much. I hope he doesn’t overpay for her endorsement.

Forget the parsing words about an endorsement. She should say Romney’s schorched earth style of campainging is harmful to the overall process.
At least, she is saying they need focus on Obama. Which is good to say but they wont.
Not entirely sure they should focus on Obama as much as solution to fixing the economy and creating the conditions that create jobs.
We know who is screwing things up. What we need to know is how they will fix it.
Plenty of time to beat Obama up.

Bachmann has nothing to gain. If she takes cash in exchange for her credibility, that will be a poor trade. I was a Bachmann donor, and I suspect a bunch of us will be watching. This campaign is revealing who will stand on principle. Pawlenty failed the test.

She antagonized Governor Perry for Romney. So did Citizen Cain. I don’t trust his endorsement of Gingrich. Hen house.
