In politics, the timing is often the message. On Jan. 20 three days before the annual March for Life the Obama administration announced its final decision that Catholic universities, hospitals and charities will be compelled to pay for health insurance that covers sterilization, contraceptives and abortifacients.
Preparing for the march, Catholic students gathered for Mass at Verizon Center. The faithful held vigil at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Knights of Columbus and bishops arrived to trudge in the cold along the Mall. All came to Washington in time for their mocking.

They lined up to be his fools.
How many Catholics will vote for 0 again in ‘12? I don’t see the ones who voted for him in ‘08 changing their minds in ‘12.
Plenty of people take great pride in being played for fools.
Thats OK, Roman Catholics will still vote for the Marxist, Socialist, communist, Anti-American, Anti-semitic, Anti-capitalist, Anti-Christian, Pro-illegal alien, Pro-Muslim, Pro-”Social Justice” Obammessiah in droves.
Why would anyone who could be convinced to vote for a an acheivement free Obama in the first place be expected not to vote for him for re-election?
Afterall,he deserves another chance to prove himself.
In four years when our debt is 40-50% of GDP, and unemployment is 10-15?%, these same people may conclude we may have taken the wrong course..maybe?
Obama is forcing the Bishops hand to close the hospitals. This will create a crisis that he will not go to waste. Church ownership of these hospitals is in the way of total government healthcare. He will seize them like GM after “demonizing” the Catholic Church..
SEAN HANNITY: But Reverend Jeremiah Wright is not backing down and has not for years and in his strong stance on the teaching of black liberation theology is nothing new. He had the same things to say last spring when he appeared on "Hannity & Colmes:"
WRIGHT: If you're not going to talk about theology in context, if you're not going to talk about liberation theology that came out of the '60s, systematized black liberation theology that started with Jim Cone in 1968 and the writings of Cone and the writings of Dwight Hopkins and the writings of womynist theologians and Asian theologians and Hispanic theologians, then you can't talk about the black value system.
HANNITY: But I'm a reverend
WRIGHT: Do you know liberation theology, sir?

Obama's Church: Gospel of Hate

In March of 2007, FOX News host Sean Hannity had engaged Obamas pastor in a heated interview about his Churchs teachings. For many viewers, the ensuing shouting match was their first exposure to "Black Liberation Theology"...
Like the pro-communist Liberation Theology that swept Central America in the 1980s and was repeatedly condemned by Pope John Paul II, Black Liberation Theology combines warmed-over 1960s vintage Marxism with carefully distorted biblical passages. However, in contrast to traditional Marxism, it emphasizes race rather than class. The Christian notion of "salvation" in the afterlife is superseded by "liberation" on earth, courtesy of the establishment of a socialist utopia.

Catholics for Marx [Liberation Theology]
By Fr. Robert Sirico
FrontPageMagazine.com | Thursday, June 03, 2004
In the days when the Superpowers were locked in a Cold War, Latin America seethed with revolution, and millions lived behind an iron curtain, a group of theologians concocted a novel idea within the history of Christianity. They proposed to combine the teachings of Jesus with the teachings of Marx as a way of justifying violent revolution to overthrow the economics of capitalism.
The Gospels were re-rendered not as doctrine impacting on the human soul but rather as windows into the historical dialectic of class struggle. These "liberation theologians" saw every biblical criticism of the rich as a mandate to expropriate the expropriating owners of capital, and every expression of compassion for the poor as a call for an uprising by the proletarian class of peasants and workers.

[ The faithful held vigil at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. ]
Would that make “IT” the “the National Shrine of the Immaculate UN-Conception.”
Isn’t there a Catholic left, i.e. Pelosi? Then, it stand to reason they will vote o back in.
When you look to the State to enact your moral principles (liberation theology, Christian Service, alms giving, the Beatitudes, whatever you want to call unconstitutional redistributionism), the State becomes your religion.
Misguided Catholic fools. Freedom is the ultimate principle that religious people should demand from their government.
The Catholic Left is being split over this issue. Of course, there are many in that faction who dont understand that they are not really Catholic, but modernists or gnostics, or whatever, so totally confused as they are. A not well-told story is how they took over many sections of the Church after Vatican II. Many.many nominal Catholics have been inbued with this doctrine.

I grew up STRICT Catholic but that was years ago. I don’t understand the substance of Vatican II. But, I notice the left Catholics doen’t seem to adhere to most teaching in the Bible or the constitution for that matter. It amazes me how any truth or law can be twisted by the wrong people.
Well, the Left gives lip service to Catholic dogma. The adherents to the Jesuit philosopher Teilhard De Chardin seized the opportunity to push for a reformatIon of Church teachings. As Jacques Maritain said about them in 1965, they genuflect to the world. They embrace what liberalProtestants call the Social Gospel, and portray Jesus as a social and political reformer, rather than God incarnate. Of course, not in so many words. Rather they recaste Christian teachings in ambiguous language. Still at heart they reduce all religion to a tool of politics.

In other words, they take the words of Chardin before the Holy Scripture? Or do they interpret the Bible as do the extremists do the Koran? And, why hasn’t there been a loud voice from the Catholic authority? But, it is as Jesus said about those who would mislead in the last days.
They reject the dogma that is the basis of the Bible. As to the last times, we are always in the Last Times, and the first days of the Kingdom. Yes, we are finding that the bishops have just now found their voices, and listening to the popes once more. One of the objectives of the reformers was to kick the pope up stairs and gag him. If you read the encyclicals of the last two popes, they speak loudly enough.
