I am calling all praying Freepers, Jewish and Christian, to this thread...as a place to gather to offer our prayers to God's Heavenly Throne for prayer for our nation. For prayers for Newt Gingrich, that he can withstand the forces of evil that are surrounding him.
Obama's acting like a dictator. Romney's just plain being mean. Some of the talk show hosts are disappointing us. Yet WE, few but mighty, can help our country and Mr. Gingrich through prayer. It's MY belief that we wouldn't be in this mess in the first place had we all been doing just that.
As I said in the first thread, this is a PRAYER thread...please come here to offer them to God. We need His help SO badldy. We've failed Him by allowing the leftists to chip away at our society. We've not gotten on our knees and asked for forgiveness for our sins.

Another thing I should have said, Verity, is because man is sinful, there will always be genocides. God allowed free will to men and when they stand aside and let evil happen, it is not the fault of God. It is our fault. There will be a day of reckoning, however, and those directly responsible for such abominable genocides and holocausts will receive their judgement. May God Bless America!

No 'forgiveness' needed ....
Sort of figure granting forgiveness is well beyond me pay grade.
A man or women does not tend to lie when they have talked to God. He has sought forgiveness. Works for me.
I will need to pray more about that when the time comes. There is time for Gods to move in this thing, so I am not ready to worry about that right now.
FWIW- I do not think I will, at this time I can say that much, however, the appointing of justices coming with the next election is a huge factor for me.

I truly resent being accused of baiting anyone. I simply asked a question that I wanted an honest answer to. I didn’t jump on this thread. I got pinged here somehow. I am praying for God to help us out of this mess but I’m not going to try and tell God how to do it.
I think your words sum up what most of us feel even as we are REALLY praying for Newt's victory tonight. Afterall, we ARE told to ask!
But--we also know that His will, not ours, must be done. And that can be a pretty bitter "cup" to swallow at times. Yet I truly believe that when such a cup is given--no matter how "galling" it may taste (as would be the case if Romney wins Florida, and--worse--the nomination), it is meant to somehow "work together for good" for those who love God.
Now as to just exactly how?

God entervened in Noah's Day...and again in Sodom and Gamorrah...and ceertainly at Jesus Birth, death and ressurection....but it was not as Man determined...He did not come as a King...nor did HE leave as the King people thought he should have been.
So how do you know if God hasn't intervened in this election?.... I say because we see plenty of evidence there's warfare occurring you can pretty much establish He is a part of this...
If you are relying on Newt to save the Republic then you are extremely misguided.

I’m relying on whomever God chooses, if He does so...to save the Republic.
That’s why we’re all praying.
Perhaps it’s His will NOT to save us...perhaps we HAVE gone too far, too long, down the wrong path. History has shown that when I country turns it’s back on God...it falls.
We’re praying for that not to be the case here.
