PHOENIX, January 29, 2012―President Obamas Attorney General, Eric Holder, had the Department of Justice dump more documents relating to botched Operation Fast and Furious on congressional officials late Friday night. The documents reveal that Holder learned of the death of Border Patrol agent, Brian Terry, on the day it happened.
The released emails show a conversation between one official, whose name was redacted, and now-former Arizona U.S. Attorney Dennis Burke.
On December 14, 2010, a BORTAC agent working in the Nogales, AZ AOR was shot. The agent was conducting Border Patrol operations 18 miles north of the international boundary when he encountered [redacted word] unidentified subjects. Shots were exchanged resulting in the agent being shot. At this time, the agent is being transported to an area where he can be air lifted to an emergency medical center, the email read.
Another email sent an hour later, read: Our agent has passed away.
Burke then forwarded those two email to Eric Holders then-deputy chief of staff, Monty Wilkinson, adding that the shooting was not good, due to the fact that it had happened 18 miles w/in the United States border.
Wilkinson responded with, Ive alerted the AG [Holder], the Acting DAG, Lisa, etc.
Later that day, Burke sent an email to Wilkinson alerting him that the guns used to kill Brian Terry were weapons from the gunrunning operation, Fast and Furious.
The guns found in the desert near the murdered BP officer connect back to the investigation we were going to talk about they were AK-47s purchased at a Phoenix gun store, Burke wrote to Wilkinson in an email.
These document dumps always occur late on Friday nights, when the media isnt around to report on them. Then when the congressional hearings occur, Holder cries wolf and tries to portray

How could Holder not know that a border agent of ours was killed? Holder was so quick to play dumb;he shows his guilt.
Just saw the commercial Obama is playing saying he has brought ethics back to government and created 2 million jobs in the alternative fuel industry. Too funny.
Of course he did, only an idiot or a Democrat would believe otherwise, but then I repeat myself.
A lying sack of....!

This statement is easy for Holder to refute - in fact, Holder has already told Issa that he didn't read his email. (and who would believe such a statement but members of the stupid party?)
The Director of the “Just-us Department” is either incompetant, or a perjurer; or both !
Or he might just be an idealogue obstructionist.
The fact that he knew, or was advised the day of the fatality, and yet he offered no appology or acknowledgement to the family for a period of a year goes beyond civility.
The fact that he acknowledged the fatality one year after the fact , before the media, but before the family received his written acknowledgement demonstrates the fact that he is a media “ho” and an idealogue obstructionist.
Better he should be sent to Mexico to explain, in person, to the Mexican President how and why the Mexican Government wasn’t notified of this operation, nor of the guns which transited the border, nor of the cumulative arrests which occurred as a result of this operation. Maybe then we will learn of the truth behind “Fast and Furious” ~when he is released in 5 to 10 years. He is at least an accessory ‘after the fact’ .
He has violated his “oath of office” to protect the Constitution as it is written, regardless of how he wishes it to read.
He consistantly fails to protect American citizenry from danger , both foreign and domestic .
His actions of stall ,lie , deceive, and obstruct in this inquiry into “Fast and Furious” indicate his inability , or unwillingness to hold this office in high honor , or respect.
The fact that he has chosen his office to persucute ( not prosecute) “States Rights” when the Federal Government fails to live up to the Constitution ,as presently written, demonstrate an unwillingness to conduct the Office which he holds.
All of these actions show that he should be removed from his office .
A total of 103 members of the House have called for Holders resignation or firing, expressed no confidence in Holder via a formal House Resolution, or both. Two sitting governors, two U.S. senators and all the major Republican presidential candidates join those 103 congressmen in not trusting Holder.
“connect back to the investigation we were going to talk about”
“we were going to talk about” Does this give everyone higher up plausible deniability? Hadn’t yet been discussed?
"...the investigation we were going to talk about...Holder to Congress on 5/3/11:
"I'm not sure of the exact date, but I probably heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks."If Burke wrote to him him in December referring to that "investigation," how could Holder truthfully deny knowing that their was even such an "investigation" until sometimes in April of 2011. Burke's memo indicates that Burke knew that Holder knew their was such an investigation and was anticipating a discussion concerning it.
Holder may be able to claim he didn't know various details of Fast and Furious but not that he only "heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks."
Damned to hell the MSM for not reporting this.If this would be a Bushie republican it would be breaking news 24/7.
