Unbeknownst to the press, President Obama met this evening with former president George H.W. Bush and his son, former Florida governor Jeb Bush in the Oval Office.
White House officials did not list the meeting on the president's schedule but released a photo through Flickr and Twitter.
According to the date and time stamp on the photo, it was taken shortly after 5 p.m. That's about the time Obama returned to the White House from a fundraiser at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
White House officials did not immediately respond to questions about the subject of the meeting and its exclusion from Obama's public schedule.

Thank you cracker45, I have to say I don’t recall things going this far in the past. Note we are among the few posters not viciously attacking Bush for merely visiting the White House. And plenty are calling him a traitor, murderer, etc. I believe there are even claims the Bushes are islamists, that makes real sense. /s. Oh well have a good night.
OK, but does that mean you would have preferred Clinton, Gore and Kerry instead, eh? Else why complain now when no Bush is currently on any national ticket whatsoever? That only helps the current “progressive” ticket that is much worse than anything any Bush has ever done to this country, even by your complaint!

More Muslims were legally imported into the U.S. after 911 during Bush's reign, than in the previous two decades.
This is not to mention many millions entering this country illegally, from God knows where, during Bush's 8 years...During war time no less.

Since that time things have devolved to the point where there is absolutely NO difference between them and the RATS. Absolutely no difference.
I cheered..the nomination of Sarah by the RINO-in-trouble McCain... the rise of the TEA PARTY..... the rise of all true blue blood patriots against this travesty taking place with the aligning of RINOS and RATS.

I’ve been around as a lurker since late ‘98, but didn’t register because I didn’t have a personal computer and didn’t want my company to track me online so much. Even then, the viciousness was not so virulent and destructive as now. As I recall, FReepers were delighted to see Clinton being forced to accept Gingrich’s conservative programs and Gore/Kerry’s defeats. I suspect there are many here now who don’t remember (or choose not to remember) those days, and the incremental successes we enjoyed at the time.
Bush Jr was a hero after the disastrous Clinton policies of Jihadist appeasement and dereliction of duty that resulted in 9/11, but now he is called a traitor by some here. There is no logical explanation for that crapola and I reject all of it! Yes, Dubya wasn’t perfect, but none of the current candidates are either, regardless of the current dogma...

Ok - Jeb was just in China. I think on behalf of the Obama administration. (couldn’t find an article that came out and said that)
And there is all this stuff about Kissinger telling the Chinese Jeb will be the “next president of the United States” (mostly blog sources)
