I’ve been around as a lurker since late ‘98, but didn’t register because I didn’t have a personal computer and didn’t want my company to track me online so much. Even then, the viciousness was not so virulent and destructive as now. As I recall, FReepers were delighted to see Clinton being forced to accept Gingrich’s conservative programs and Gore/Kerry’s defeats. I suspect there are many here now who don’t remember (or choose not to remember) those days, and the incremental successes we enjoyed at the time.

Bush Jr was a hero after the disastrous Clinton policies of Jihadist appeasement and dereliction of duty that resulted in 9/11, but now he is called a traitor by some here. There is no logical explanation for that crapola and I reject all of it! Yes, Dubya wasn’t perfect, but none of the current candidates are either, regardless of the current dogma...

Sure there is. Check out any of the links on my profile page. Quite a nice, albeit incomplete, listing of Dubya’s greatest hits. He will go down in history as one of the most pathetic and disgusting President’s this country ever suffered under.
