Well, "totally dishonest" is getting closer. This is from today's Washington Post ...
Gingrich simply leaned away from his lectern and looked down at his feet because he was so stunned by some of Romney's statements, he said. He didn't engage Romney at the time, he said, because "I wanted to fact check. I wanted to make sure he was as totally dishonest as I thought he was."
Romney's not the only liar out there on Romney's behalf, not by a long shot.
You may be right. But I considered what he did yesterday to just be honest reporting. And today, when he got the info that we’d been scammed by Willard, Elliot Abrams, et al, he reported THAT immediately upon coming on the air.
It’s no different than getting some info on the net, passing it on to your friends, and later finding out it wasn’t factual.
Of course, we already KNOW better than to believe the mainslime media. Now add TO that list Elliot Abrams, Willard Romney, Drudge, et al.
IMHO
If Rick did that on Monday then he would receive enormous respect for the rest of his life and will be remembered for it and hopefully paid back for that too.
Perry received a lot of respect and put country first and hopefully Monday it could come true plus Monday it doesn’t give the establishment and Romney a major headache, it would put them out of the race and thus Newt goes on to the next round with massive support and Romney and his Govt healthcare lose AGAIN
I think he’s going to do just that. He knows he can’t move past Florida, he gained a lot of stature last night, and his number one passion right now is healthcare. He hates Mittens, that much is clear.
hope so, it would be a dream.
I really like the guy but if he did it then I know not just off here but the people I know down here in FL would be remembering him for a very long time.
Rick was like Newt last night, totally shocked not how Romney lied over his health care but the full blown lies he was saying.
I was shocked and I was here , can’;t imagine how Rick and Newt were.
Anyway, kids are here so got to go but you have a good weekend and lets hope Monday’s dream comes true for the love of this country and her future.
I realize that Florida is a high immigration state and the Hispanic vote is important, but just once I'd like to hear a candidate, any candidate, say something like this:
"Americans will be much more receptive to the idea of granting amnesty in special cases when the borders are secure, when the economy is on the mend, when those waiting to come here legally are served in a timely manner and when we are allowed to deport the gang bangers, criminals, public wards and undesirables hiding among the (illegal) immigrant community."
It is damn disappointing that American workers out of work still have to take a back seat to illegal immigrants in the minds and attention of most of our ruling class.
Romney did that all by himself.
More likely Rasputin will rise from the icy Neva.
I've already decided Newt is the Rasputin of Republican politics. (Hey, can I copyright that?)
Santorum is the decent, honorable man left standing. I don't think I will ever be embarrassed that he is my candidate.
Yes, Santorum isn't perfect. He made some political compromises during his Senate career, such as supporting Specter in return for a guarantee that Specter would use his power on the Judiciary Committee to get two pro-life justices through the committee (and we subsequently did get Alito and Roberts confirmed).
So, political compromises, yes, they've happened with Santorum. Moral compromises, I don't think so.
He didn’t start this but if voters kept informed, he wouldn’t need to do it. What happened with Mitt’s attack on Newt, his numbers fell because idiot voters believed it. He’s actually doing voters a favor, lest they found out too late like obama voters did.
Anyone believing anything from Mitt are not what I call informed voters - they are media led.
Remember this:
Look, we have spent more money -- we spend more money in three weeks on combat in Iraq than we spent on the entirety of the last seven years that we have been in Afghanistan building that country. Let me say that again. Three weeks in Iraq; seven years, seven years or six-and-a-half years in Afghanistan
I agree. The over the top attacks are going to backfire. Why not concentrate on the present and what you are going to do to change things going forward. These back and forth ads are tiresome.
good words...
NEWT told Hannity there’s a backlash going on in Florida due to Romney’s outrageous lies, so keep praying!
Looks like no, and CNN claims he (Huckabee) has come out against it.
I hope FL voters read this before Tuesday:
Governor Romney’s Housing Crisis

I can remember when most people wouldn't think that thought, much less, say it out loud. Sadly, the American people have been pushed so hard, that it's now discussed openly, and ever more frequently.
I firmly believe that if Mitt Romney wins the nomination, we will almost assuredly wind up there.
Where have all the wusses come from? This is a primary, they are not running agains Obama, they are running against the other candidates in their party. People won’t give a cr@p come November who got nasty with who in the RINO primary.
Did you sleep through the Clinton Presidency?
Get a grip. I don't like it but things are significantly different now than they were then and baring the return of Jesus, it is not likely to get any better.
