Someone smashed the head off of a statue of Jesus in Dorchester.
“Sunday morning, about three o’clock, someone saw someone smashing the head of Christ, completely decapitating Christ and pushed the statue off its base,” he told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 Wednesday.
“It’s so disrespectful. There’s no respect any more,” a parishioner said.
“I wonder how people are raised with the lack of morals, that they would even think of doing that.”
There have been no arrests.

19Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.
20But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
21For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the LORD dwelleth in Zion.

Must be those crazy Amish kids again. Haven’t been near Dot Ave in years but I’ve heard it’s getting pretty rough over there.

This is pure hyperbole. Christ was not decapitated.
Where I come from, this is called iconoclasm. It’s both a heresy and a very grave sin. Whoever did it is in REAL trouble, and I doubt that he/she/they have access to the means to remit it, or that they even want to.
I also wonder what the distance from that Roman Catholic church to the nearest mosque is.
Prayers up. This is only the beginning, I fear.
To understand Dorchester, think of a smaller Detroit.
Not lack of morals, just a different set.

That is why our country is failing. Too many people now have no morals, especially morals based on the Bible.
