Mitt Romney attacked his GOP presidential rival Newt Gingrich over what has to date been one of Gingrichs most effective debate methods going after the moderators and the media for questions he deems inappropriate.
Its very easy to talk down a moderator, Romney said Wednesday on Fox News. The moderator asks a question and then has to sit by and take whatever you send to them. And Speaker Gingrich has been wonderful at attacking the moderators and attacking the media.

Hey Dimbulb...the media is NOT the friends of TRUE REPUBLICANS...only RINOS are loved by the media...
Psst..Mitt true REPUBLICANS want you to go to the MARXIST (aka Democrat) Party, since you are almost like them...
Gingrich winning in Minnesota (Newt 50%, Mitt29% in head to head)
Sorry
It’s not Romney’s Mormonism that’s a problem, it’s his gheyness.
Remember when John Moderation McCain got bitchslapped by the media in 2008? Punkd at every turn? And he was surprised because by golly, they’d always been friendly to him the past...
McRino lost because he didn’t run against Obama, but he ran against himself. Romney would have to do the same thing as will Newt. The only difference is that Newt will fight back, which is what people want.
The media supports the agitators that seek to tear down the economic and institutional establishment. They oppose those who pose a threat to the media establishment (that they overthrew over 40 years ago and dominate today).
Ha! I love it.
Romney is a buffoon.
At last Romney does something honorable—defending his base, as McCain humorously and justly called the media in 2000. I’m sure Newt will relish going after Romney for his love affair with the liberal media.
Mittens puts on the Mittens.
Going after the moderators and the media for questions he thinks are overboard is ok,,,sometimes. But if he constantly does that, it’s going to get old fast.
If they constantly ask irrelevant question that deserve going after, it won’t get old, but that’s what the left would want us to believe.
And if Mitt is the nominee, then you wouldn’t vote, thus giving Obama one vote up? Just curious,..i’m not for anyone right now.
Romney earned his millions; he didn’t inherit them. He was an extremely successful venture capitalist. He didn’t make money taking payoffs from Freddie Mac or working as an “historian,” a.k.a influence peddlar, in Washington.
He thinks they would be fair and balanced because he was nice to them for godsake. They already are warming up the anti-Mormon smear machine...see USA Today, today's edition:

If it's so easy, why doesn't he do it? Judging by his reaction to hard questions, it is apparent that Romney is not too quick on his feet. That's the last thing we need in a Debate with Obamarama.
Obama will use his straw man arguments, I.E. Republicans want dirty air, dirty water and hate puppies. Newt would eviscerate him, Romney would stutter.
Sounds about right. There are so many ways to really go after this guy it isn’t funny. Plus he take Obamacare off the table as a campaign issue.
Link is dead, by the way, even after cutting and posting.

I wasn’t really focusing on how he got his money. At least, that was not what I was responding to. Rather, it was that he has them.
The core of my question is this: He now has enough money to wield unbelieveable personal power for the rest of his life. Without a compelling conservative message/crusade/root conviction, what is causing him to so diligently pursue the presidency of the US?
And my response is that I don’t like where my mind is going with an answer. And I’ll explain:
A starving person thinks about nothing but food, and thinks others do the same. He sees everyone’s motivation for all their actions as “food”. But you and I know that is not how we think.
Meanwhile, a poor or struggling middle class person is motivated by money regarding their job and most other activities. They think all the rich care about is money. But I’ve known quite a few VERY wealthy people. For many of them, money is not green.
So what IS important to rich people who still struggle to pursue their goals: Commonly, it is power. Do you think Soros cares about money? Nope. He cares about power and uses money to gain and wield power. He could buy the best homes, planes, cars and boats, party 24/7 like it’s 1999 and not even put a dent in his fortune.
The other motivation a rich person can have is philanthropy. They give their money and do what they do to help others.
The problem I have with Romney is that only the power explanation works for his running for president. I say that because there is no “reaganesque” mantra. He’s not proposing any groundbreaking plan/solution. In fact, he is frighteningly in line with Obama on many things. His main argument is basically that he will be a better president than Obama.
That sounds like a man motivated only by gaining more power. Sorry, it just does.
This only further strengthens my desire to say no way to Romney.
In the past, I might have voted for him if I absolutely had to in the general, though he would only be slightly better than Obama.
But now, I can’t.
