GRRR...a phone call took me away from my post. I missed you, but have a good rest of Tuesday.
Thank you ladies for this evenings thread. *hugs*
Poor Lauren needs some time off to rest!
Good afternoon Sarge & kudos on the new peepers...late to reapond.:)
So glad you & your Sister are helping each other.
I had to look up..... Gasparilla Festival.
Avast ye maties it’s a pirate festival!
Looks like fun! *hugs*
Always good to see you and especially to see that you are enjoying your new life in a warm place! I'm sure your "demented" sis...who is probably not so much....is loving having her brother around. You seem to make yourself useful, too, which is very nice! Enjoy the warmth and think of those poor souls in Ohio and Kentucky who aren't so lucky. LOL!
As the ship sails north to Seddon Channel (between Davis Island and Harbour Island) the cannons boom and boat horns bellow adding to the lively atmosphere. As the ship eventually docks at the Tampa Convention Center and the raucous hooligans disembark, it is clear that the city is no match, and the mayor presents the marauders with the key to the city.
{{{LUVVIE!}}}
When Demented Sis gets home, we’re having guests over for popcorn and movie night. Chosen flick is “Castaway”, and I’m looking forward to seeing it!
Very cool! Y’all have fun! Are ya getting your southern accent down? Gotta do it..heah? :)
She makes me smile and feel good which is a priceless talent in this mixed up world.
Tonight I discovered she can bring a tear to my eye as well.
Each week she writes and performs a song based on suggestions from her facebook/youtube fans.
Here is one she did in response to a number of requests for a tribute to the soldiers who serve on our behalf.
