Mother Jones has a profile up about Reverend ONeal Dozier, a pastor who runs the Worldwide Christian Centor in Pompano Beach, Florida, who currently serves as the honorary chairman of Rick Santorums Florida campaign. Dozier is a well-known social conservative who obviously shares many of Santorums views on issues like gay marriage, but has made rather controversial statements that have raised peoples eyebrows over his connections to the GOP candidate.
In a video posted online, Dozier explains his church preaches the dangers of Islam and Islamic fascism, and once proudly boasted that God is 100 percent for capital punishment. But at the same convention where he made the latter statement, he stated that homosexuality is so nasty and disgusting that it makes God want to vomit.
[T]he rise of tea party politics gave Dozier a new calling. He campaigned vigorously for Rep. Allen West, an African-American conservative who shares Doziers views on gays and Muslims. West has spoken at Worldwide Christian Centers services, quoting a John Adams letter that claims our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. And Dozier can often be found on Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale, hoisting signs and holding court with the powerful local tea party. The tea party is a godly ordained party, hes said. At one recent event, he expanded the thesis: God would never ordain a government to take from the rich to give to the poor, you see, so therefore God is not a socialist. God is not a Robin Hood.
Those sentiments, and Doziers revitalized reputation in the black community, seem to have struck the right chord with Santorums campaign.
Santorum hosted a forum with Dozier today called the Sanctity of Life Sunday. After initially supporting Cain, Dozier shifted his support to Santorum because hes not a compromiser or a politically correct kind of guy.
Not only that, the MINUTE I hit “POST” for this thread, the area in Tokyo starts shaking (8:47 p.m. Monday local) with a moderate earthquake. Hope “the powers that be” are not perturbed. Anyways, all clear now. (Hopefully). :^)
Well, there goes the fag vote.
Of course, this is just one of the many problems when your platform for President is that you are Mr. Goody Two Shoes.....you attract this kind of “talent” for your campaign.
Well sure, in the context that ALL sin is abhorent to God - there are no "little sins" or "big sins", there are only sins, some of which, as in homosexuality, like any sexual sin, cuts deeper into a person's soul - not that it is any worse, but the resulting bondage is greater (no pun intended).
And it is actually luke-warm fence-sitters (from the book of Revelation) that really make God want to vomit.
Wow AiT! You hit “post” and “instant earthquake”, could we maybe get you to spend a week or so in Washington and just post like mad? LOL
I got the point. Thanks.
Little Ricky is in it for Little Rickyhe doesn’t acknowledge that there are causes bigger than himself. Ergo he won’t stop campaigning until he absolutely runs out of money. And I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up endorsing Romney out of spite for Newt, whom he seems to have an inferiority complex towards.
Let’s hope this talk isn’t merely diversion from a down low lifestyle. Funny he mentions something like this, fairly minor in the scheme of things, as making God want to vomit. What does he think abortion does in comparison? Or religiosity (such as Jesus referred to when he said that things would be more bearable for Sodom on the day of judgment than for those whose religiosity led them to reject him)?
“...there are no “little sins” or “big sins”, there are only sins...”
I am no theologian, so the following is based on what I call “wiki knowledge” which is to say, a poor excuse for knowlege. But, from Mark, Chap 3.......
“But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, but is guilty of an eternal sin.”
Now, there is a lot of disagreement on what it means to blaspheme against the Holy Spirit, but one definition is...
“...the deliberate labeling of good as evil...” which I believe is similar to the Catholic concept of impenitence.
My take on this is that while the act of homosexuality itself is simply another sin, the attempt to persuade society that it is not a sin, and that those who are, quite naturally, disgusted by these acts are the ones who are evil, is an “unpardonable sin.”
But then I don’t presume to speak for the Lord.
B A H. 1 government benefit acronym for gay marriage.
If God does not vomit at gays, America will.
Government officials have received special
employee red carpet treatment from the industry and
laissez faire franchisers at the expense of willing
compromising employees using BAH arrangement for support of their whore spouseds and degenerate children.
But this gay thing is so govenrment employees get even more options for red caret treatment: ie. tax benefits for a friend or a kid
(child porn) who is “married” to the government employee.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH WITH THIS HORSECRAP OF POLITICAL CORRECTNESS.
WE DO NOT HAVE TO BE CORRECT AND UNCRITICAL OF
THESE CORRUPT GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES AND LEADEDRS
THEY CAN ALL TAKE A FLYING HIKE OF
IGNORANT CHILDLISH SHAME TO CHINA WHERE A DEATH CAMP AWAITS THEM.
I dunno. Kind of reminds me of the good Freeper, I forget now, who sez in his/her tagline, “The Roar of the Masses Might Be F*arts”). You take care. It was about a magnitude six or seven right up in Fukushima area. Not fun. ;-)
Actually, I hope the mainstream media jump all over this pastor and attack Santorum for being backed by this pastor. The simple fact of the matter is that lots of black evangelicals detest homosexuality and an aggressive attack on this black pastor could help show black evangelicals that Democrats are not their friends.
Dr. D. James Kennedy had homosexuals picketing his church for his sermons condemning homosexuality, though in less colorful terms than this black pastor. My home church in New York City, Neighborhood Church of Greenwich Village, was attacked by a homosexual mob throwing rocks through windows when a group of young people passed out flyers in Greenwich Village saying homosexuals could change. There's no way to “play nice” with homosexuals and avoid their wrath, and I'm no longer willing to try to avoid antagonizing them. I've pretty much come to the conclusion, based on the extreme viciousness of the anti-Christian behavior of many homosexuals, that we're dealing with outright demon-possession. At minimum, we're dealing with people who have been given over to “shameful lusts” and a “depraved mind” (Romans 1:26, 28).

Some of us happen to agree that the Bible strongly condemns homosexuality, calling it an abomination and perversion.
If you don't agree, that's your right in America. But many evangelical Christians and conservative Roman Catholics agree with what this pastor said, though perhaps not with the way he said it.
I'm required by my evangelical convictions to believe what Romans 1:26-32 says. You don't have to agree if you're not a Christian, but don't blame me for following the clear original intent of the Bible:
“(verse 26) Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. (27) In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. (28) Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. (29) They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, (30) slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. (32) Although they know Gods righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.”
Well, the mental image of homosexual behavior—especially male on male—does trigger the natural biological gag reflex at gross stuff in normal humans.
And we ARE in HIS image...
...very politically incorrect to say so though.
Rumor has it, Emperor Supremus Maximus on TV tonight (is it tonight) will make some kind of statement in support of marriage for sodomites. We will just have to see. One thing is for sure, it will hopefully be the last State of the Dis-Union for that idiot.
Well, I was supporting Newt, but after this I might have to take a second look at Santorum.
God’s dislike of sin stems from the fact that it hurts his creations, not because it injures him in any way.
When Santorum drops out, Newt should pray to the God that the gays make vomit that Santorum either withholds his “endorsement” until very late in the game, or swings it toward Romney. Newt does not need this kind of fundamentalist vote going to him-—the MSM and Obama will use it against him.
The only appeal Santorum can count on is this small group of
fundamentalists whose BIGGEST issue, or at least the one that distinguishes them from the other candidates, is precisely this kind of issue, one that does not have much importance to the masses of voters Newt will need both to win the nomination and to win the Presidency.’
GO AWAY RICK!
