Looks like Jeb understands how to keep his future Presidential ambitions alive in the Tea party era.

He is wisely afraid of pulling a Nikki Haley. Back a loser and your political influence in the state gets diminished. Nikki can somewh at recover by being a goog Governor. Jeb holds no office to let him recover lost political capital.

Says a lot about the shift in momentum that now Jeb is shutting up.

Too late!
By equivocating in his support of Myth, he looks just like Myth.
Another "finger-in-the-wind" RINO!
Which, BTW, any thinking conservative already knew about Jeb.
To: TitansAFC
Well, Jeb’s presidential ambitions need to die one way or another.

This *is* news. A Romney endorsement would be expected. Smart move by Jeb.

I think this is important. If Jeb stays out of the fray, then it helps Newt. If Jeb were to endorse Newt, then Jeb would only help Newt. Jeb Bush, for all the faults of his family, did govern pretty much as a conservative in Florida. The Terry Schiavo case was a bit of a blemish on his record. He was fearful of acting against the orders of a judge. It would have been an interesting war if he had done so.
If Jeb endorses Romney then that will not be surprising, but he’ll wait to see how the polls look the last few days and which way the momentum is going.

Maybe the GOP E is having second thoughts about their boy. I watched CNN for some of the coverage after Fox got too much down on Newt.
They had some very interesting results. Newt beat Romney decisively in the following groups:
T Party
Evangelicals
Independents
People with incomes less than 200,000
People who considered the economy important issue
People with out post college graduate degrees
All age groups except the youngest voters
Women: Newt got 38% to Romney's 29%
People who thought electability was the issue
Undecideds & best to beat Obama
49% thought he had the right experience to put us on the right track to Romney's 31%
51% Newt is the best one to beat Obama Romney much less %, but I didn't get it written down.
Looks like Newt is the candidate who can unite most of the Reagan Republicans, and the Reagan Democrats.
