After Newt Gingrich was declared the winner of the South Carolina primary Saturday night, Karl Rove suggested that the candidate has CNN’s John King to thank for his victory in the Palmetto State.

“Taking on the media is always good in a Republican primary,” Rove said on Fox News. “John King couldn’t have set up the question in a more positive way for Gingrich to just nail it and haul it right out of the park.”

I gotta hand it to Bill Hemmer. While Brit & Juan & Huckleberry were playing down Newt's win, Hemmer comes on with the SC election map and states the obvious that Newt had a stunning victory. Winning almost every precinct, (might end up winning all of them) Winning every demographic. A total blowout for Newt.

Only then, did Brit Hume & Rove start talking about hitting it out of the park. Being embarrassed by their colleague who was accurately portraying the enormity of Newt's win.

No idea I do remember that in Oct the pundits were predicting a big Carter win and that RINO’s were afraid to be seen with Reagan.

I know that Obama’s re elect numbers (those that think he deserves another term) are WORSE than Carters. I also know that Gingrich would destroy him in a debate. Anecdotally I have an in law who with his wife have spent their lives in academia who for the first time in their life don’t want to vote for a dem who brought up to us that they are impressed with Gingrich, my wife and I were stunned by this.

Gingrich will win if he is the nominee, Romney is a sure loser. The Obama scum have built their entire campaign OWS and all in anticipation of running against Romney they have to retool the whole shebang to run against Gingrich.
