Why in the sam hill is he going to Disney World, to give a speech??????
He can give speeches anywhere. What is the significance of Disney World in his political calculation?
Is it really worth it to Disney to put up with all of the disruption caused by a president’s visit?
Or, did things happen behind the scenes, and Disney was told that the president will show up, and that’s the end of the discussion????

Disney advises that Main Street, U.S.A., including shops like the Emporium, will be closed to guests from park opening through late afternoon. Can you imagine ... having a trip planned, probably taken off work, maybe kids out of school, to go to Disney and then THIS happens. I'm sure there is going to be more inconvenience than just Main Street being closed. Obummer's going to lose some popularity if not votes .....

What is the significance of Disney World in his political calculation? The rumor is The One is going to announce some regs to make it easier for foreign tourists to visit the USA. His Highness is showing his benevolence to the tourist industry in Florida.

And why would any president want to disrupt some childs trip to disney? He continues to
display very disturbing narcisisstic tendencies.

Wow..I feel sorry for the people who paid alot of money to go to Disney then can’t access parts of the park for most of an entire day. Plus the money it will probably cost Disney....... Obama has to bring economic trouble whereever he goes...I wounder if he will try and unionize the workers and Occupy Disney??
To: C19fan
Disney may want to accommodate the President. I suppose that's their option. But what sort of compensation are they offering to guests who made their travel plans months ago and now find themselves squeezed out of a day at a significant part of the park which was the principal reason for their visit to the Disney area?

What about the poor tourists who have planned for a year to be there? Essentially, they've just lost a day from the precious little time they have on vacation. The Obamas - all of them - are ungrateful, imposing, arrogant a-holes who could give a rat's Patootie about the common person. Bad enough it's hard to scrape together the funds to go on vacation, now the Halfrican and his tribe of professional moochers has to completely spoil it.

I work there and not only can us Cast members not go to MK and use our free passes. MK on Thursday is closed to all but official Obama guests.
