Were he similarly zealous in devotion to a minority religion, his piety would be solemnly respected. If a Muslim playing in the NFL knelt in prayer, or expressed gratitude to his God for his professional success, he would be lionized for his bravery. His religious views would be treated with reverential respect.

Why does the Godless left attack him in the media? It’s their job.

Actually I think it's as simple as the fact that thugs, punks, ne'er-do-wells, and liberals read the same playbook...if you can't compete...MOCK.
Mock, Ridicule, lie, and cheat are the four main principles of liberalism/democrats.
And if all of that fails, well, play the race card.

“In what is arguably the most religiously tolerant society...”
Toleration is only extended to anti-christian opinion, ideas and beliefs.
The sheep must tolerate the wolves eating them. To fail to do so would risk offending the wolves.

Excellent quote - you're right, the best of the article - except Moslems rarely actually achieve anything with gratitute to their faith. Rather they achieve, or build, DESPITE their given religion.
Show me a Moslem who thanks his lord and I'll show you someone who just destroyed something someone else built.

No. It is NOT because he’s Christian. It’s because he’s conservative. If he were black, or making ads about how Jesus wants us to feed the poor and homeless, maybe a nod toward OWS as “what God really wants,” they’d be giving him tongue baths.
To: goseminoles
It’s the media that keeps pushing it. Also liberal websites have their knickers in a twist and keep harping on it. You don’t see Conservatives pushing it in the same way. They just defend his right to do so.

Homeschooled, Christian, and pro life. Everything the left hates.

Depends on who you ask and how you ask whether Christianity is now a “majority faith” in the USA. I know, polls have shown that 9 out of 10 somehow connect themselves to Christianity. But how many even bother to darken the door of a church even at Easter or Christmas? How many could accurately quote a single verse of the bible, whether or not knowing its reference but at least being able to say which Testament it came from? “Christians with some kind of clue” probably comprise less than half.

You’re right.
“Christian” has become kind of a societal or cultural label.
It’s easy to weed out the “I’m in a garage therefore I’m a car” “Christians” from the believers.

We pick on immaterial stuff and doing it is snide!
The media continually casts anyone not progressive liberal in a myriad of derogatory ways. They choose to demean conservatives, and Christians,
BECAUSE THEY CAN AND IT DOES WORK TO CAUSE THE MINDS OF THE PUBLIC TO ABSORB THE LIES OF IT AND IT DOES HAVE A MAJOR EFFECT. TRUTH HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT AND WE ACCEPT IT.
Forgive the caps. I do not have my glasses on ... and I do not want to retype it.
