Blessed Sunday to you, Arrow! It’s supposed to be nice and warm here today. Still chilly right now, though.

Good Morning, Everyone!
We had a hard chill here in FLA last night, but it’s warming up a bit. Walked Demented Sis’s dogs this morning, and it wasn’t too bad at all.
We’ll be having a grill-out tonight, with ground chuck and chicken halves on the menu.

Good afternoon LUV. Just got home from church. My month to usher, so it takes a bit longer. Next weekend is my last guard drill.

PRAYERS GOING UP FOR OUR AMERICAN HEROES AND FOR OUR BELOVED NATION!

GEORGE WASHINGTON THE PRAYER AT VALLEY FORGE
In the coldest and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered those prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting glory and bestowed His manifold benefits upon the new Nation.
In like manner, let our prayers now rise for our heroes in the American military who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and keep them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, Amen.

SHADOWS AT ARLINGTON
Heavenly Father, Lord of the Nations, we pray that you vouchsafe the souls of our Fallen to dwell eternally in your Divine Presence, Amen.

Alleluia, alleluia!
We have found the Messiah which means the Christ
grace and truth have come through him.
Alleluia!
As John stood with two of his disciples, Jesus passed, and John stared hard at him and said, Look, there is the lamb of God. Hearing this, the two disciples followed Jesus. Jesus turned round, saw them following and said, What do you want? They answered, Rabbi, which means Teacher where do you live? Come and see he replied; so they went and saw where he lived, and stayed with him the rest of that day. It was about the tenth hour.
One of these two who became followers of Jesus after hearing what John had said was Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter. Early next morning, Andrew met his brother and said to him, We have found the Messiah which means the Christ and he took Simon to Jesus. Jesus looked hard at him and said, You are Simon son of John; you are to be called Cephas meaning Rock.

GOD BLESS AND PROTECT OUR TROOPS!

Amazing Grace
by John Newton
Amazing grace! How sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found; Was blind, but now I see. . Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, . And grace my fears relieved; How precious did that grace appear The hour I first believed! . Through many dangers, toils and snares, I have already come; Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, And grace will lead me home. . The Lord has promised good to me, His Word my hope secures; He will my Shield and Portion be, As long as life endures. . Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail, And mortal life shall cease, I shall possess, within the veil, A life of joy and peace. . The earth shall soon dissolve like snow, The sun forbear to shine; But God, Who called me here below, Will be forever mine. . When weve been there ten thousand years, Bright shining as the sun, Weve no less days to sing Gods praise Than when wed first begun.
