The Paulers are counting on Santorum and others dropping out before the convention, leaving Paul as the only alternative to Romney by the time the convention rolls around, then going for a brokered convention. So, the best alternative is to make sure that at least one conservative refuses to withdraw.

Rush's attack on Gingrich for how he attacked Romney puts me in mind of Alec Guinness' Col. Nicholson in "Bridge on the River Kwai."
He's so caught up in "doing it right" that he's forgotten who he's doing it FOR -- i.e., Romney.
Statism is our enemy, and Romney is a statist. ANY TIME Rush does something to help Romney, he's helping the enemy.
