TARP
Obama is the only person to vote for the Troubled Asset Relief Program as a senator and then oversee it as president. Romney's stance? In 2010 he told Fox News' Neil Cavuto that bailing out the banks "was the right thing to do" because it was "an investment made to try and keep a collapse of our entire financial system from occurring."
Stimulus
Nowadays, Romney consistently sounds the common refrain that the stimulus "didn't work," but in 2009, a couple of weeks before Obama's inauguration and a couple of months before passage of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, Romney told CNN's Wolf Blitzer that "I think there is a need for economic stimulus. Americans have lost about $11 trillion in net worth" and "government can help make that up in a very difficult time."
Payroll Tax Cut
On the one piece of Obama's jobs package that he's been able to get passed -- the payroll tax cut -- Romney is still with Obama. He called for a payroll tax cut in his 2009 USA Today op-ed that also called for renewing the Bush tax cuts and issuing tax credits for small businesses that hire new employees. Obama did both.
GM Bailout
Though Romney is known for his widely read New York Times op-ed titled, "Let Detroit Go Bankrupt," if you've actually read it, you know that he argues for the same kind of structured bankruptcy that Obama required as a condition for loaning GM the money it used to recently retake its place as the world's number one seller of automobiles.

On the issues that are important to me, there is not much of a difference.
Romney is a snake who changes his positions every week it seems.
I suspect we will be seeing an influx of his supporters soon and I bet they will be attacking Newt or others because they know Romney and others are coming south and we’ll be voting soon.
I don’t think Willard is so much a marxist as a slickster politician.
Yeah. According to the arguments of those slippery, bipartisan “progressives,” they’re both great capitalists. The problem with their arguments is that government wasn’t intended to be the contributor of capital.
Big businessmen govern as socialists, either because they feel guilty they were so successful, they think they’re smarter than everyone else, because they love playing with large sums of other people’s money, because they love dictating to the little people what they should do, or all of the above.
Nope. There is a HUGE difference.
One is half black.
two flavors of the same crap.
They aren’t the same guy.
Their skin tones are different.
Come to think of it, though, on far too many other things ... not so much difference.
Rombama
Same guy?
No.
Romney is but a pale imitation...
Exactly the same which transforms this nation into a godless one.
We can NOT have a Nation Under God when you allow abominations and laws which defy God’s Laws and the Laws of Nature. We will be a land of arbitrary man made-up law like the Nuremberg Laws. We already are almost to the point of no return. Maybe we are. Romney will sink us. He denies God’s design of man and woman also and allows force of law to force that godless worldview on our children and in our schools.
He is evil. Anyone who allows the corruption and sexualization of children—to expose 5 year olds to the idea of anal sex—is sick and evil. It is also unconstitutional. Kill DOE.
They are the same minus the chicago thug machine but Romney is the GOP’s thug.
Romney is nothing more than Obozo lite!!
