“Well actually neither won”

Actually, yes, Santorum won.

“but he didn’t take it over the goal-line either”

Last I checked he had the most votes.

“Further this IS Newt’s time”

So we should vote for him because it’s his turn?

I guess we have the time to waste to see if Newt can win anywhere.

Maybe after FL and SC are wrapped up - for Romney - we can get behind the conservative, eh?

I really don’t understand why people think newt does well in debates. What I hear when he talks is a lot of annoying irritating hot air that never answers the question he was asked. Maybe its a personality clash with me. I don’t know. But I really do not like to listen to him.

If Romney wins everything through Floria, its basically over and we can all go home.

I disagree. If, after FL, Romney has received fewer than 30% of all votes cast then there will be plenty of time for conservatives to consolidate their support behind the leading non-Romney candidate and win the nomination for him.

What has me totally upset is, in South Carolina, where we need Republican numbers, it is an open primary so voters who normally vote Democrat, can vote in the Republican primary. Their presidential candidate, Hussein, is already chosen, so they can vote in our primary and screw up our numbers. Romney can win due to these Democrat votes. Could someone send me a Xanex? Or a bottle of good Amaretto or Baileys Irish Creme?

We have the same thing in Texas; it’s an open primary. But, Texas is so far down the list, it’s not mattered if Dems. do that and because of that, Dems. don’t bother to change over.

“Go ahead—vote for the thug whose goons roughed up Santorum’s wife and kids last night.”

This is the first I’ve heard of this story, could you provide a link to that story please?

“Last I checked he had the most votes.”

Do you have a link for that? All I’ve heard so far is rumors.

Oh, you got me there. I’m bleeding.

Politically I hope so. I can’t wait for the results tonight. We can end this once and for all. Then we will be on the right side of this primary. Santorum. I really think Santorum is going to do better than you think tonight.

FYI Sarah ping list info.
Last night I saw promos for a show this week on The History Channel. It’s Larry the Cable Guy’s show “Only In America” airing at 8pm Central Wednesday. Apparently, Larry met Todd Palin and Sarah’s father Mr.Heath. Sarah is also on the promo from a distance as she returns home from jogging. Larry asks her if she will say “Get ‘er done”.
Might be worth watching.

It may already be too late. If Romney wins SC and Florida, it is close to over. Newt or Santorum are going to have to make the hard decision. Huntsman doesn’t matter, and only Perry knows why he is hanging in.

Clearly, the Santorum campaign won’t yield, and the Gingrich campaign won’t yield, so yeah, I’d say it’s time to stock up on lubricants.

The GOP isn’t called the stupid party without many good reasons, and OPEN primaries are one very good reason!

When Republicans can’t nominate their own presidential candidate, then Republicans desevre the loser they get.

Romney will take the Grand Old Party the way of the Whigs.

Damn shame too. Election 2012 is deadly serious.

I loath is primary season and Romney is the reason.

First off, the pollsters have and always will suck. Every election, they slant left by 8 to 10%. In recent years, they have tricked the public by swinging to the middle in the last minute. Iowa polls were horribly off until the Sunday before the election when the undecideds were finally mentioned. Santorum & Paul probably would have done a lot better if the Iowa polls had been more honest.

Second, New Hampshire is a blue state in a blue region of the country, with only 4 electoral votes. Notice the above mentioned pollsters never ask how a primary vote effects their vote.

Third, any pundit who has a candidate is finished is a liar. Santorum was able tie with Romney after being outspent nearly 7:1. Even though the media claims they don't matter. Paul's army of volunteers was able to put him in double digits in Iowa and will make him competitive for some time.

The media will cheerlead for whoever they think will buy the most ads. Most of them will also cheerlead for who they think Obama can beat. We have to use the internet, door to door, radio, and kitchen table discussions to bypass the lying media.

Newt’s gonna have to beat Santorum first.

Good luck with that.
