By now you’ve probably heard about the “Alice in Wonderland”-themed Halloween party that Obama threw back in 2009 and which the White House tried to cover up (a charge they’re already furiously denying). Here at PJM Belladonna Rogers and J. Christian Adams have already blogged about it, so there’s no need for me to go into the details any further.
But the question everyone’s asking is: Where are the photos?
Well, unfortunately, it seems that the Obamas successfully banned discouraged photographers from inside the party itself. But all is not lost: There were a few photos taken inside of Johnny Depp and Tim Burton in Alice in Wonderland costumes along with Alice herself and the Obamas. And some other photos were taken of festivities outside the event. I’ve done quite a bit of searching, and this is what I could find, so for all of you out there hungry for pictures, here you go (presented in the highest resolution I could track down for each image):

I'm a fan of much of the Burton/Depp works, but this "dress up for the Poser" party has me completely turned off.

Very bold and brave for the President and First Lady to throw a big “non-secret” wing ding during one of our worst economies since the Great Depression?
The way they hid their pain and smiled like it was just another day is inspiring.
I almost weeped when I saw this photo.
I found myself wanting to reach out and hug them and whisper in their ear, “thank you brave troopers someday the world will know how giving you really are”
They are a shining example of American fortitude and strength. Allah Bless you President and First Lady.

How is it that Barry always looks like he’s been photoshopped into photos? I can’t remember seeing a group photo where he looks like he belongs and I don’t just mean in the this-guy-has-no-business-being-U.S.-president. It’s like the camera picks up his phoniness in an eerie way. I’ve never seen anyone else who just didn’t “fit”.
