Anonymous author sells BSO e-book on Amazon

The first electronic-only book has been written about the law enforcement agency and its sheriff, Al Lamberti.

"Inside the Broward County Sheriff's Office" bills itself as a "look at corruption" in the guts of the agency and a "case for resignation, indictments and reform."

For $9.99, anyone who owns a Kindle can download it at Amazon.com.

NOT true. You do NOT need a Kindle reader to read Kindle books. Anyone can download a Kindle app FREE to their computer and read any of the Kindle books from there. I've done it many times.

Anyway, just click on the image of the book cover at AMAZON and you can read a sample of the book. Looks interesting and ponzi schemer Scott Rothstein figures very prominently there. Here are some reader reviews of this book:

The author was right on target. Defintely Non-fiction reading.....You have to spend the 10 bucks it is well worth the money.I give this book 5 stars Gold stars.

This book is right on target. I know, I work there. Finally someone has put the facts out there that the public needs to know about the corrupt Lamberti and his coconspirators. The taxpayers deserve honesty in law enforcement. Thank you to the author.

All I can say is wow! It's worse than I thought (not the book, the agency)! The book hits the nail squarely on the head. The truth is now out ... now what?

South Florida FYI. And here is a laughable quote from BSO Sheriff Al Lamberti:

Lamberti hadn't read the book Monday afternoon and said he didn't plan on "reading it, let alone paying for it."

"This has all the literary value of graffiti scrawled on the bathroom wall," he said. "It deserves the same amount of respect."

I guarantee you he went through this e-book with a fine tooth comb micro-seconds after publication.

Kindle even has an app for iPhone/iPad.

Amazon didn't say that, did they?

For $9.99, anyone who owns a Kindle can download it at Amazon.com.

Which is absolutely true. Vast difference between what they said and what you read.

The article made it seem that you had to have a Kindle to read it. Actually all you need is a Kindle app to read it. I think anybody who didn’t know this would have thought you needed the physical Kindle reader.

Some of the comments on a blog discussing this book suggest that there will be FIRINGS at the BSO within the next couple of weeks due to the revelations in this book.

BSO has been corrupt and in the hands of criminals for decades. This is not news to anyone that has lived in south Florida since the 1970’s. Different names, same games.

I’m predicting Adderly will GO. He’s not BSO but very close to Rothstein.

My father was on the Hollywood PD back in the 60’s. He was always telling me stories about the BSOb even then.

I remember my mother driving me and a couple of friends to the store and we were pulled over by a BSOb. He thought it would be easy pickings what with a mom and a bunch of kids in the car.

Wrong thinking. My mother was not about to let some yahoo with a badge intimidate her. She had me go to a pay phone, call my dad who was on duty, and have him come to our location. Dad showed up with two other HPD black and whites since it was in their jurisdiction.

By the time dad finished with the guy he was just about in tears. I honestly thought my dad was going to kick his ass right there on Federal Highway.

Kindle apps can be had for Android, Blackberry, iOS, OSX, and Windows. I’m a bit surprised they don’t have one for linux.

Kindle and e-books have created a revolution in publishing. In my first year at it, my Kindle book sales are outrunning my dead-tree book sales.

And it costs nada to upload a Kindle book. It's a good way to disseminate a lot of political info, if you want to do it that way, and not wait 1-2 years for a dead-tree “conventional” book publisher.

No, that name does not ring any bells. It has been about 40 years since I had real contact with that area. When I left I swore the only way I would come back was if the plane carrying my casket had to land for fuel.

The only name of anyone on the force I can remember is Haldem. He was the HPD ‘diver’ and taught me how to SCUBA and poach lobster. LOL

The case of the ‘Catch me killer’ is vaguely familiar, but I can’t remember anything specific about it. Not a lot of local Hollywood news made it to SE Asia.
