I am off for home....
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Hope the boys take you out for some fun.
*HUGS*
Whidbey is a great place. Seattle is 40 miles and a ferry ride away (from the southern part of the island).
Thanks, AZ, for the red, white, and blue tribute.
Hope your commute had minimal traffic and smooth sailing. Any critters lately? *HUGS*
Good evening, Sand...((HUGS))...great cake!
That's incorrect as the link you posted, as well as the photo, indicates. The SAR birds are MH-60S.
Also, you're still posting the flags in the incorrect order.
And as I have repeatedly told you, every time you post this same thing, I know that they are slightly out of order, and I have chosen to take "poetic license".
I had to wait til I got home from work to see the picture....love that boat! Great picture.
Thanks for sharing.
Good morning, Mayor, and thanks for today’s sustenance for body and soul.
Thank you for doing your part to help keep all of us free and safe.
Thanks, unique, for the pastries.
Coffee is always on........
How about a donut?
Cookies?
Veggies?
Sandwich?
((HUGS))Good morning, Ladies. Thanks for this morning's thread, Lauren. How's it going?
((HUGS))Good morning, LUV W. How’s it going?
BTTT
Good morning, Everyone.
Good morning to our
military, our allies, and their families
Thank you, Lauren, for preparing the Canteen for todays activities.
Sorry you are under a heavy work schedule.
Washington state is a beautiful place.
I love that they have the ferry system
which we do not have around here.
Don't remember if I've visited this base before.
~ Today...Areas of fog this morning.
Sunny. Highs in the lower 50s.
West winds 5 to 10 mph.
~ Tonight... Mostly clear in the evening...
Then becoming partly cloudy.
Lows in the mid 30s.
North winds around 5 mph.
Oh boy
did we have a strange weather pattern in the last 24 hours.
Started with light snow flurries yesterday, late morning-ish.
Tapered off for a bit
then started heavy again by the time I left work.
We got about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch, maybe.
If it hadn't been so warm, we might have had more
since it snowed up until 6-ish.
Can't remember the last time it snowed
like that when it was 35-36 degrees out.
Woke up this morning to foggy conditions
and temps around 33.
Fog not so bad that you couldn't see the vehicles in front of you
but it made slow going.
Roads were good shape, though.
And as you can see from above
we'll be in the lower 50s by the afternoon.
Time to make my rounds and then back to work.
But, you stay right where you are.
Don't touch that dial. And, remember Ill be watching!
The FR Canteen is ALWAYS
Come on in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee,
tea,
pancakes,
conversation,
silliness,
and plain old BS
REMEMBER THEM
