Well, that settles it - I am now a proponent of global warming (or climate change, whichever term is more politically correct).
However, it seems funny to me that we don't know what causes ice ages, but we know with absolute certainty what prevents them (carbon dioxide in the atmosphere), even though man hasn't been around long enough to prevent the previous ice ages, or cause them to end!!!

Just more junk science. If we prevented an ice age, then we have prevented the deaths of untold millions.

It seems a bit odd that people who cannot accurately predict what the weather will do next week, and sometimes even tomorrow, think they can predict it for 1,500 years.
Especially since they admit they don’t understand what causes ice ages in the first place.

Well, considering that the Ice Age brought about an Ice Sheet over 1 mile high in most of North America, Asia and Europe, 1,500 years is too damn close.
These “environmentalists” don’t follow a science - they follow a religious cult.

This is not a new theory — but, other articles point out that we're over 1,000 years overdue for an ice age. According to that theory, the greenhouse gases released over the past 8,000 years’ first from agriculture, then, more recently from industrialization, have kept the ice age at bay.
Clearly, this would be a good thing. Especially, here in Canada (and Alaska), which was covered by miles-thick ice for many thousands of years.
Here's an article that claims we could avoid the next 5 ice ages, by burning up all the fossil fuels on the planet:

Oh...man....
Just as the planet was about to rid itself of that pesky human race, via that massive ice age “scheduled” for a few years from now, those damn humans have screwed it up and could be around for another 1500 years.....
Now What?!?!

What ever creature is crawling around on this rock 1,500 years from now, will still be trying to pay down Obama and his democrat’s debt, so they will probably look forward to an ice age.

Considering that an ice age would probably result in several billion people dying from starvation makes global warming the greatest boon to mankind EVER.

Actually I'm more concerned about an ice age this upcoming year and whether I should add extra insulation in my attic or not.
