Baier: And now some fresh pickings from the political grapevine. A state judge in Georgia has denied a motion by the Obama Administration to dismiss a complaint challenging the president's eligibility to be on the ballot there. Attorney Orly Taitz filed the complaint back in November on behalf of a Georgia resident contending Obama is not a natural born citizen and therefore should not be on the March presidential primary in Georgia. You'll remember last year the White House released the president's long form birth certificate, however Taitz, along with many others in the so-called "birther" movement, is still not satisfied. Some in that movement call it a fake. Others say the real issue is that he's not a natural born citizen. A hearing has now been set for January 26th. The president's lawyer in Atlanta says he's optimistic the judge will decide in the president's favor.
I regard the prefix “so-called” to be journalistically correct as a nonjudgmental prefix for a term that is in common usage but may be objectionable or controversial to some folks.

It DRIPS with sarcasm and innuendo that “Bath-House” Barry actually released a genuine Birth Certificate-not to mention, the court case has to do with Natural Born Citizenship-NOT the fraudulent birth certificate.

IMO, Baier properly reported who, what, when, where, why with no spin...which is Journalism 101, IIRC.
Fox can't force HI to release the original BC for forensic examination. Fox has no control over the courts and whether other patriots could overcome the “standing” issue for all plaintiffs up until a plaintiff in GA just now established standing as an elector to contest placement of Obama’s name on the ballot in a new election.
The NBC issue is anyone’s guess until SCOTUS actually rules, despite claims to the contrary.
There are defenses that Barry can resort to if he gets backed into a corner, such as not having a legal father.
Remember that under the 1948 BNA if Barry is proved to have a bastard due to the existing marriage of his biological bigamous father Barry could be explicitly excluded from having dual UK citizenship and would only have the unitary USA citizenship of his single mom (assuming birth in the USA). He would not have two US citizen parents but he would not have any loyalty to another sovereign at birth. Can any FReeper say with confidence how SCOTUS would rule on such facts?
I see this straight news report on Fox's primetime news show as a breakthrough change signalling that Fox will not blockade coverage. This will certainly enrage the White House and I, for one, am celebrating!

Fox has never once previously allowed even a suggestion that Obama’s BC might be a fake!
The fact that the person Obama says was his father was a British citizen violates the Constitutional requirement for candidates for POTUS to be NATURAL born citizens.

Baier even said it TWICE in this short, carefully scripted report where the second mention was entirely redundant.
There was no mocking no use of the term "debunked claims that Obama's BC is fake," no aspersions on Orly or on those who believe Obama's BC was a fake or that he is not NBC.
The so-called Conservative talking-heads must be freaking out. No doubt O' Reilly will come to obamao's defense on his next show. Or will he even mention it?
