Call to Arms - All Conservatives Let's Back Newt Gingrich - Calling Palin, Cain & Rush

This is an appeal to all long-time conservatives. Let's start lining up behind Newt Gingrich, as Thomas Sowell, Art Laffer, JC Watts, Jim Robinson (Free Republic honcho) and others have. The hazzard of holding back an endorsement is that the media, pudits and PAC TV commercials will continue to shape negative opinion against Newt and we may lose our best conservative warrior. The result of the media, pundit and PAC TV onslaught may cause the nominee to be Romney or Santorum. Romney is a moderate and Santorum does not have the experience to Push the conservative agenda in the general election or if elected in the Washington DC - Congressional War Zone. I want to urge Sarah Palin, Herman Cain and Rush Limbaugh to endorse Gingrich now before they lose their voice to the LOUD voices of the media, pundit and PAC TV. He who hesitates is lost.

What is your "excellent reasoning" for hiding and avoiding taking action when events are moving fast?

On some issues of regulation, trade and labor, he certainly is to the left of Mitt. Certainly not on a lot of other issues though. His conservative rating is lower than Newts’ also. I don’t put too much stock in those ratings, but when someone is considered ultra conservative and they are lower than some others considered more moderate, it’s interesting to see how reality really is.

Think you are right about Newt being the one...I made up my mind the other day that Newt is the one with the fire in his belly, and the smarts, and I don’t give a hoot about his personal life. He’s going to have to take a lot of lumps from all the “holier than thou’s”, but he’s got my vote. Just remember...only “he who is without sin gets to cast the first stone”. Lord knows we have had lots of Presidents who dallied plenty while in office...and recently. Why does Newt have to be lily white?

Yes. If we all made a decision for Newt we could stop Mitt. I cannot stomach another McCain type election and see Obama sworn in.

The kindest and most accurate thing I can say about that is "how ignorant." As the other poster said, I was representing a Super PAC supporting Newt. As for NPR, they are one of many outlets to interview us. The subject was the negative ad campaign run by Mitt against us. So wow, you were just about oh for your entire post on that one. Nice try.

Newt is already playing with Mitt's small mind, which is why Mitt still views him as his chief opponent. Newt has been raising Mitt's expectations in NH, setting Romney up to lose even if he wins, thus reversing his Iowa fortunes. Team Romney has started to realize Newt has been setting them up, and have been trying to temper expectations. Now Newt is making sure that everyone in the universe realizes that Mitt Romney is behind the negative ads, by tying Mitt to his SuperPAC and making it a known meme. By making it the news of the day, every day, Newt will tattoo negative headlines on Mitt for every news cycle. He will add paid advertising to this as well, making it a two-pronged assault on Romney. Newt has also become the first person to go directly after Romney; and as you can see, he is not going to relent. Mitt essentially mocked Newt for expecting Mitt to honor the 11th Commandment, so Newt is going to show Mitt what it's like to face 24/7 negative attacks. Mitt is going to be sorry he picked a fight with a much, much smarter and savvier man than himself.

Rick Santorum is not going to do jack about restoring the constitutional republic. If you want this country back then get behind Newt. He has a realistic plan to make significant changes. Ask Rick if he is going to sign 200 executive orders on inauguration day to undue as much of Obama’s evil as possible. The answer will be no.

I bet newt has a few surprises up his sleeve for Obama and Romney. He was just hoping he wouldn’t have to use it on Romney. Everyone in dc has their Achilles heel and newt makes it his business to know them. Why do you think Clinton told Obama to watch out for newt. McCain never took a swing at Obama but newt will have his boot on Obama’s neck and the MSM will be numb and speechless.
