A county ethics commission in Maryland has determined that if you make negative statements about transgenderism, your word is not reliable.
The stunning conclusion, now under appeal at a state ethics panel, was made by the Montgomery County Ethics Commission and signed by member Nina Weisbroth in a four-year-old dispute over an effort to hold a referendum on the countys adoption of whats become known as the coed showers bill.
The law provides discrimination protections for transgenders, and critics say it opens up virtually all of the county from shower rooms to restrooms to other private areas to anyone who states he or she is of a certain gender. For example, a man dressing as a woman would be allowed, under penalty of discrimination laws, into a womens locker room, shower room or restroom.
Opponents set out to collect signatures on a petition to demand that the law be put to a vote of the people and later filed a complaint over one of the originators of the bill, county council member Duchy Trachtenbergs assistant, Dana Beyer, a transgender.

According to a video of the incident, Beyer attempted to intimidate citizens collecting signatures that would put the law up to a vote.
The issue was presented to the county ethics board because of Beyers connections to authorities in the county and the alleged threats of retaliation against those who want to have people vote.
The ethics panel in the county, however, disregarded several statements, because the witnesses to the incident exhibited palpable and unapologetic disdain for transgendered individuals.
That, the ethics panel said, makes the testimony not credible.

Maryland “Freak State” PING!
The fix was so in that it was like the sign on the side of Joe the Plumber’s truck.
I’m a male lesbian at heart. Does this mean I can shower with the girls in Maryland?
Why not just make all restrooms and locker rooms “gender neutral” and be done with it?
“Im a male lesbian at heart. Does this mean I can shower with the girls in Maryland?”
The good news; yes, you can.
The bad news; only the lesbians.
A clear violation of civil rights. The First Amendment reminds all that the people have a right "to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
nope, you actually have to dress like a woman first, then when you get in to the locker room you can undress and take a shower with women, legally.
I don’t think claming to be a male lesbian would work.
> The good news; yes, you can.
> The bad news; only the lesbians.
Ignore the mid-to-older lesbians. But there are some surprisingly cute girls among the younger lez crowd.
So here's what to do:
Way to kill MORE businesses! Soon, no one but the transgenders or homosexuals will use these gyms, or even restaurants rather than be subjected to danger. It is already happening in some places. We very seldom go out anymore. home is safer and we are perfectly content to enjoy our workouts, meals, and the company where we aren’t offended or made to feel nausea. Not a feeling I particularly enjoy!
Oh Gus, shower for two...
how about a trans-gendered lesbian who wears mens clothing....just keep trying!!
“No one will be the wiser, unless the water in the shower is.... cold. LOL”
Will they know about...shrinkage?
Were this leftists trying to do the same with say, smoking being allowed in a public building, their use of derogatory terms would be irrelevant.
Liberals are fascists, pure and simple. They do stuff like this because they can gun these people down and put them in mass graves.
“Why not just make all restrooms and locker rooms gender neutral and be done with it?”
A grammer school run by UCLA 50 years ago had a unisex bathroom that didn’t even have stalls, just toilets lined up along the wall.
That restroom was weven for the teacher.
A few comments.
This is absurd.
The word is not “trangender”, it’s “transexual”. (Funny how these proponents of sexual openness don’t like using proper “open” “dirty” words - “gender” is NOT the same as “sex”.)
A person who merely DRESSES as the other sex is a TRANSVESTITE (i.e., other/changing clothes). This term almost never is used today. A transexual (cough-cough transgender) is a person who actually physically changed.
But, either way, I take WorldNetDaily with a grain of salt.
This was the MOST moronic bill that was ever passed by the County Council. We tried to get it up for referendum, but were shot down by the Maryland Court of Appeals last election. Don't know the current status of the petition ... BTW: Last election, Duchy Trachtenberg and her transgender [queer in a dress] assistant [Dana Beyer] got thrown out of office on their asses for having sponsored the bill ...
I appreciated the towel since I had forgotten to pack one and needed drying off after my shower and shave before dressing. I doubt the gate guard even understood why I thanked him so profusely when I left the lot.
