MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) -- Barely triumphant in Iowa, Mitt Romney campaigned Wednesday seeking an overwhelming victory in New Hampshire's primary - and found tough questions even with Sen. John McCain, the locals' beloved war hero, at his side.
Romney returned to New Hampshire the morning after his eight-vote victory in Iowa's caucuses, and McCain joined him on stage as part of his endorsement announcement.

Let’s face it Romney had to get this out of the way as early as possible. I don’t think he wants to campaign with McCain around his neck.

Now there's a nice, big, wet kiss of death, full on the lips. Or a pair of fangs in the neck, take your pick. We still remember Mad Dog Juan from '08, Mittens. An elephant never forgets.

And from such people turn away, for his name is Obama."

It was strategically timed for New Hampshire since McCain did well there in ‘08. There’s no way in hell they would have done this two days ago before Iowa.

These people are so out of touch............I COULD CARE LESS about McCAin or who he endorses. Yet him endorsing Mittens is not a surprise. They are both what is wrong with this country.

Boy, I really hope both Meghan and her dad do numerous appearances with Romney.

Well, McCain endorsed Obama during his own campaign so it makes sense to endorse Romney.

"....and found tough questions even with Sen. John McCain, the locals' beloved war hero, at his side."McCain endorsing Romney is hillarious. Hannity played a video ( like the one Jim Robinson links to) where Romney says he is pro-choice, an Independent, not like Regan etc; only in at the end of the video Hannity played it was approved by McCain. This is when he was running against Romney in the Primaries in 2008.

Like Rush said today...if Mitt is such a sure winner in NH, why bring on McCain to help?

If Romney had declined McCains' endorsement, he would have shown true grit.
By accepting the old Rino's nod, Mitt joined the herd.
