CARSON CITY, Nev., Jan. 4 (UPI) -- This endorsement might leave some wondering: Prostitutes at a brothel near Carson City, Nev., endorsed Rep. Ron Paul's bid for president.
Brothel owner Dennis Hof said he polled "all the girls" at the Bunny Ranch and the majority backed Paul, the U.S. representative from Texas who placed third in Tuesday's Iowa caucuses, The Daily Caller Web site reported.
"We thought real closely about supporting [Newt] Gingrich -- because he's a cheater -- and we like cheaters," said Hof, who gained celebrity status thanks to HBO's "Cathouse" documentary and series featuring his business. Nevada allows counties to license brothels.
A lot of the women supported Barack Obama in 2008, but then he signed a bill allowing for human consumption of wild horses and "the girls don't want any part of Obama," Hof said.
Hof said the ranch "decided to go with the guy that's more about state's rights -- and that's Ron Paul."
During January, he said he was offering a special -- two bunnies for the price of one, the Web site said. All a client has to do is come by and say "I'm pimping for Paul."

To them it’s just a good business decision. After all, under a Ron Paul administration the whole country would get screwed.
With Freedom comes personal responsibility. Sometimes we have to tolerate things we don’t like. If I had to choose between legalized prostitution or Socialism, I’ll take prostitution.

Yeah, not having the nanny state to take care of you and regulate every facet of your life is way safer. Liberty is scary.
Paul is a libertarian, not a republican.
I’m not surprised at all.
It is a false choice of one or the other. The citizens of this country time and time again have voiced the opinion about the national standards this country has, from prostitution to drugs and for the most part, they reject it. Part of the freedom is the freedom to have these bare minimum standards versus anarchy. With both prostitution and drugs comes the criminal nature behind it, even when they are legal.
Or do you think the citizens of this country in mass rejecting the legality of prostitution or drugs should be ignored under some fake ‘liberty’ claim? There is no liberty in enslaving society.
Sex, drugs, and Paul. Yeah Baby! /SARC
Even a stopped Frank is right twice a lifetime.
After all, why should the politicians have all the fun?
Right? Really?
Just curious. Of drugs or whores. Which one is your favorite?
Or is special rights for gays up your alley?
The supreme law of the land - the United States Constitution - grants no authority to impose "national standards" on prostitution or drugs.
Part of the freedom is the freedom to have these bare minimum standards versus anarchy.
Nonsense - genuine crimes with actual victims (murder, theft, rape, etc.) would remain illegal.
With both prostitution and drugs comes the criminal nature behind it, even when they are legal.
Is there a "criminal nature behind" the lethal addictive drug alcohol? Are you aware of how making that drug illegal worked out?
Yup.
Just curious. Of drugs or whores. Which one is your favorite?
I don't like either - freedom is my favorite.
Or is special rights for gays up your alley?
I oppose special rights for anyone - including moralist statists.
Dang it! Double tap on the trigger; single click on the ‘post’ button.
I wonder if his middle initial is ‘I’...
BS.
You just made a favorable compliment to two of the biggest liberal whores in Congress; Frank and Paul.
You are no conservative. Certainly not a moral conservative.
Maybe those aren’t the only two choices...
Well, they say if you want something said, ask a man. If you want something done, ask a woman.
