Lets see what happens
NEWT IS SLAMMING ROMENY!!
Santorum has gained the presidential patina with his showing in Iowa. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him continue to gain from the Palin crowd, the former Cain supporters, and those fleeing Bachman fans. Romney will eventually be facing the last standing conservative, and he will summarily get his arse kicked in.
Newt is making a nice speech here. He is laying the gauntlet down for Mittens as well. Myth just pissed off the wrong hombre with the slimy attack ads.
I've heard about some issues with his past actions concerning spending, but I don't know a lot; I'm sure we'll start hearing more tomorrow. From what I know of his positions, they sound right.
I've only watched him in a few interviews and, for me at this early stage, he doesn't seem strong, doesn't have leadership qualities I'd hope to see.
But.. I'm fine with him as the nominee, if he should get it. I'm not sure he is the one I'd put there, but I'll certainly back him 100% if he wins it.
My primary worry now is a repeat of the split vote in the notMcCain/notRomney vote. I'm very much hoping we can unite behind one candidate early enough to defeat Romney.
I predict Newt will do well in NH.
He was kind to both Ricks, but I think only one of those Ricks will get to SC
We shall, see.
Newt clearly has his eye on the top 2 threats at the moment.
Newt is going to go after Ron Paul and Romney in NH. Can’t wait!! BTW...Anyone who needs some background info on Santorums past votes so you can defend Santorum against the smears, go to Mark Levin website, click on “audio” and listen to the first hour of tonights radio show.
He really smacked down Paul bad!
I am not sure Santorum can defend himself.
He is kind of a Casper Milquetoast.
Looks like FNC skipped Perry for speeches or he declined.
It’s a mistake if he declined.
Bachmann is talking BS “I am not a politician, nor have I ever aspired to be a politician... My 23 children...”
I suspect Perry is taking notes...
Axelrod ang his allies see this crazy fool as the perfect useful idiot
To trash the GOP thru the primary process .
Gingrich is a moron. He deserves to lose.
He just gave his speech and didn’t even mention the economy.
IT’S THE ECONOMY, MORON!!!!!
He never mentioned the soaring unemployment rate, 50 million people on food stamps, bank closures, business bankruptcy, home prices and foreclosures.
People don’t give a flip about Santorum’s positive campaign or Ron Paul’s foreign policy or negative ads disguised as “the truth”.
IT’S THE ECONOMY, DUMBASS.
That is where you hammer away. That is the winning message. How you are going to fight to reduce government interference and regulation and job killing laws and free the private sector to grow. How you are going to throttle job killing agencies like EPA and energy.
THAT is where the winning message is.
Gingrich? Not one stinking word about the economy. Not one.
Enjoy getting shellacked you idiot loser. What a maroon. The man has absolutely no clue. People vote their pocketbooks first and foremost and that is THE issue this election. Not abortion. Not gun control. Not the environment. Not wars. Not inflation. Not the courts.
People want to know how you are going to get them a job and off unemployment and food stamps. They want to know what you will do for their college graduate kids living at home who can’t find jobs.
F’ing IDIOT. Good thing he sucks anyway.
According to Ed Fallon
DEMOCRAT: Go uncommitted. President Obama has disappointed his base on so many issues, even signing the National Defense Authorization Act. Obama needs our support to win in November. He needs to know that were unhappy, and that we intend to hold him accountable. We do that with a strong showing of uncommitted Democrats at Tuesdays 7:00 pm caucus. Call the Iowa Democratic Party at (515) 244-7292 to find out where to caucus.
REPUBLICAN: Support one of the less extreme candidates: Ron Paul, John Huntsman, Buddy Roemer or Fred Karger. Any of them will provide a far healthier debate with President Obama on key issues. Of course, three of these candidates have long been dismissed by the corporate media and the Republican Party. Thats wrong, its unfair, and pre-picking an acceptable field of candidates must change . . . but thats a battle for another day. Call the Iowa Republican Party at (515) 282-8105 to find out where to caucus at 7:00 pm on Tuesday.
Axelrod has his storm troopers taking to the social
Media sites pushing this AstroTurf.
Perry is about to speak on FNC
FNC is playing it up like Perry will quit.
I’m going to guess that they are full of ****
96% In:
Santorum 29,051 25%
Romney 28,938 25%
Paul 25,121 21%
Gingrich 15,639 13%
Perry 12,127 10%
Bachmann 5,926 5%
Huntsman 702 1%
I don’t think Perry will quit as he still has the money to continue. Newt has name recognition and debates well but he will need money for the long haul.
