Good news! She always made this interesting and created a conservative drive that made politics interesting for me.
Mel was my favorite when I lived in the Bay Area.
What happened to Rush ? He starts at 9 AM PST.
What a nice surprise to get up and hear Melanie on the air this morning. She brings a nice energy to the show. I like Brian Sussman, but his show can get a bit dull at times.
ha, what a shock, another conservative woman, and she is a real looker too....
When did she leave? Where did she go? I remember seeing her at the 2003 recall rallies.

Morgan — the conservative radio talk show host who chairs Move America Forward, the group which has led efforts to shame and boycott Berkeley for its anti-U.S. Marine Corps recruiting stand — has lost her job at KSFO 560 AM.
Morgan, 51, delivered her final broadcast there today after 14 years at the microphone, she says in a news release. KSFO owner Citadel Broadcasting decided not to renew her contract as part of the company’s announced across-the-board financial cost cutting.
“The ratings were terrific and I got to connect with a lot of passionate conservative casues, and I’m really grateful for that,” Morgan told me just now. “I don’t know what’s going to happen to the show, I don’t know what’s going to happen to KSFO.”
She’ll not be bored, though. She said her e-mail is already overflowing “with all kinds of very, very nice emails of support” and work offers. “I think I’m not going to have very much time to grieve this job.”
Among Morgan’s more incendiary moments: Of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, she said, “We’ve got a bull’s-eye painted on her big, wide laughing eyes.“ Of New York Times editor Bill Keller, after the Times published a story on U.S. government tracking of terrorist funding, she said, “If he were to be tried and convicted of treason, yes, I would have no problem with him being sent to the gas chamber.“
Of billionaire financier and political contributor George Soros, after her co-host said Soros had “cheerfully and willingly went to work for the Nazis,” she said he’d done so “in order to further his own career.“
She also helped launch and grow support for the 2003 gubernatorial recall, and rallied grassroots support to convince California to reverse itself and end use of the carcinogenic MTBE additive in gasoline.
Morgan started out as a television reporter for KGO TV in 1981. She worked at KGO radio from 1983 through 1990, then moved to Seattle for a time; she returned to the Bay Area in 1994 and went to work at KSFO. She has traveled to the Middle East twice to interview U.S. troops stationed in Iraq and Kuwait; her broadcast efforts from Iraq resulted in her winning the Associated Press’s Mark Twain Journalism Award, and the Peninsula Press Club’s award for Best Interview or Talk Show.
They just announced that he is gone because of slacking ratings.

The Sussman, our KSFO crew and I plan big things for 2012, and we can’t do them without you, our loyal listeners. Important safety tip for Obama: Read up on the recall of ex-Gov. Gray Davis, a liberal man in a state that has suffered many love affairs with liberal politicians.
Let’s remind ourselves why we will work our derrieres off to defeat Obama this year. We know, dear listeners, that you are well-educated and you stay on top of the politics of destruction and the monsters - who usually sport a big-D after their names -who unleash their socialist plans on us.
Are you better off today than you were three years ago? If you answered yes, then you are probably an owner of Solyndra, the now bankrupt solar company that was quite cozy with the corrupt Obama. For review: Obama visited the solar company in a media blitz and touted it as a success. A short time later, Solyndra – which had raised more than $1 billion from investors and got a half-billion dollar loan guarantee from the Obama Administration – laid off 1,100 workers. (And we wonder why California’s unemployment rate has skyrocketed under Obama. Yet his cronies and he are getting richer).
This will not shock our brilliant listeners, but the entire Solyndra debacle (paid for with TAXPAYERS money) was driven by Obama’s politics, according to an investigation by the liberal Washington Post.
“Meant to create jobs and cut reliance on foreign oil, Obama’s green-technology program was infused with politics at every level, The Washington Post found in an analysis of thousands of memos, company records and internal e-mails,” according to the Washington Post.
It’s the Chicago way, baby. So step aside or, as we will do at KSFO, stand RIGHT IN THEIR WAY!!!!!

Rush Limbaugh, America’s most-listened-to radio personality, will continue to be heard exclusively in the San Francisco Bay Area on KSFO. The station has entered into a new multi-year agreement with Limbaugh’s syndication company, Premiere Radio, to carry both his regular three-hour weekday program and his daily morning “Rush Minute” feature program.
I avoided the morning show when Mr. Lee Rodgers was kicked off the air for.. what? Being too mean to the Islamists (political Islam, sharia law and jihad advocates) killing Americans and others all over the world?
I knew Sussman was very good from listening to his evening show. I went back to mornings after a couple of months only to hear Sussman go after the self-described Communist caller -- enough already with that. Either fight the guy or shut up --- boring.
I must now give it another try.
I swear I saw AM910 list Limbaugh from 0900-1200 also. Rush is still on KSFO's schedule.
OV once said (when Ms Morgan was part of the show with him and Lee) that the show without her was like the Caldecott Tunnel -- two bores.
