Interesting idea. I liked Rice initially, but she didn’t support Bush very well (she was even more liberal than he was) and is also pro-abortion and supposedly voted for Obama in the last election because he was half-black. I don’t know if she did or not, but maybe she needs to clarify this.

I haven’t been all that kind to Newt, but I will say I appreciate his deservedly blistering remarks about Wrong Paul. He pulls no punches. We need candidates who can speak truth like that.

It is ridiculous that Paul has gotten as far as he has, with only Santorum and Gingrich bluntly confronting him face to face as to what he is.

The Libertarian needs to run on his own party’s ticket, not on the GOP’s.

She supported him admirably and with full loyalty while she was SOS. And that’s what counts. If I’m wrong, please enlighten me.

“That would be about as great a mismatch of knowledge versus ignorance as we’ve seen,” Gingrich said. “I would be intrigued.”

That is just funny. Thanks NEWT.

I like Condi as a person, but hated her as SOS. No, not as bad as Hillary Rotten, but a silly nation builder witha naive streak a mile wide. Also, if I remember, big on open borders. Yuck! Bob

I like Condi as a person. The woman is brave, she is six feet talk and still wears stilettos, that is pure confidence!
She is also a very interesting person.

My impression is that she gave him some bad advise. Certainly, if we failed in Irag, it began with decisions made the summer after the fall of Bagdad.

Given the GOP propensity for advancing vice-presidents to the presidency, I would not want to see Rice as Newt’s running mate.

With Rice’s varied experiences and intelligence she would absolutely destroy Biden, ( but shhhhhhhhhh! don’t talk about this, if the Dems seriously think Rice would be a candidate for VP they may replace Biden with Hillary ).

Apparently Gingrich is feeling pretty desperate. Drops names of SOS Rice and Gov. Palin for VP, cries on cue, sucks up to Paul haters. Let’s see what other rabbits he tries to pull out of the hat before Tuesday.

You're post is idiotic.

Newt didn't "drop" Palin's name. Newt was asked about Palin.

The VP stuff is lame. Especially Rice. With Palin obviously he's sucking up to Palin supporters but with Rice?

I can understand the crying but

A)You can't tell if it's ever real when they do that.

B)Do we really want the President to cry in public? I don't.

I would love to see Newt debate Obama without having Newt as the nominee, but I don’t see Newt debating Obama anytime in the future.

Newt was complaining that Romney and Paul are playing dirty (those negative ads about him in Iowa). Well what does he think Obama will do? I thought Newt’s sharp debating skills would counter such a strategy. Go ahead Newt, treat this as a trial run. Show us how you will take on Obama.
