ROFLOL!
Who did PPP poll - front lawn gnomes?
Not totally sure on this poll but if it is true than the RINO establishment is going to shove Mitt Romney down our throats come hell or high water. I support Newt as the person to stop Mitt.
Just keep talking, Gingrich.
Wow. That’s a bit surprising.
But Gingrich has killed himself with his comment on Meet the Press, Face the nation, forget which one, where he said he’d imprison judges. Right, Left or in between, that’s insane and off the rails. I think Gingrich is shocked that he is in the lead and doesn’t really want the nomination.
This is all ridiculous and just sad.
Never believe Party Propaganda Polling.
I don’t know what to say except I don’t know what to say. If Paul wins this, Iowa Republican voters need serious therapy.
Q14 In 2008 did you vote in the Democratic or
Republican caucus, or did you not vote in a
caucus?
Democratic caucus 13%
.........................................
Republican caucus 55%
..........................................
Didn't vote in a caucus 32%
He's coming across as another Herman Cain.
Not by what de doesn't know...but by his arrogance.
These polls are ridiculous. The radical swings mean only one thing—no one has made up their mind yet. I suspect the results will surprise everyone.
A smart campaigner would stick to four or five positions.
Newt is showing off.
He has abolutely no humility!!
Reagan had humility.
So 54% of likely Iowan caucus goers have a favorable view of Ron Paul???? I’m finding it difficult to believe that Paul’s base is that broad in Iowa.
Also interesting is that between Perry, Bachmann and Santorum they account for 30% of the caucus goers. This is the more conservative element of the base and the last thing I want to see is a continued fracturing and allowing a Paul or Romney to somehow slip in. Although, beyond Iowa I just can’t see Paul doing much.
Paul in the lead is laughable. This poll is propaganda.
14% for Gingrich, 10% each for Rick Santorum, Michele Bachmann, and Rick Perry

Hmmmmm..... Well, I hate to see Newt’s numbers falling, but, in this poll it looks like Bachmann, Santorum, and Perry are splitting Newt’s losses. I still say that if there is a “surprise” coming out of Iowa this year, it will be Santorum.
I hope pro-lifers in Iowa will understand that LIBertarian mentality makes LIBertarian candidates do strange things, like Ron Paul did with his not-so-pro-life votes:
“Voted NO on restricting interstate transport of minors to get abortions. (Apr 2005)
Voted NO on making it a crime to harm a fetus during another crime. (Feb 2004)”

YAY! It’s Uncle Ron’s turn to be #1!!!
We never used to be able to cross over - and we shouldn't.
The dens could be committed to vote in droves and decide for us.
When did the crossover ruling come into play? Dollars to donuts it was a demRAt move.
And yet the Independents can't vote in the primaries, can they?
I can see the Unions telling their people to get out and vote mittens in, knowing there's no way he could beat O’Bumbles.
Mittens has run many races and only won ONE - in a liberal state, where he, himself, said “I'm a Progressive.”
He can't get his numbers above 22-23. How do they think he could win in the general?
Add to that, right or wrong, there are many who would not vote for him because of his faith,
We need to pray Paul doesn't win or even ‘place.’ If he does, it will be his only win, BUT his ego and his hatred of Newt would cause him to go 3rd party - giving the election away.
Pray harder than ever before...
What you see in this poll is that Paul is pulling a motley crew of disappointed democrats, young voters, and independents. The question is will they show up? PPP is about as good as any of the other pollsters. What you see with Paul is a hunger more for his domestic policy than I think it is his Iranian apologetics which is where I part ways with him. He is too smart a man to peddle moral equivalency bs. It is one thing to be against blank check militarism and international welfare but entirely another to be making excuses for leaders who openly call for the destruction of Israel and the US.
If Paul can win Iowa it will be even more conceivable he could win NH. That is the reality we face. I personally think what we are seeing more than anything in this poll is the collapse of Newt and it isn’t because of any one thing he said. I think its more just the scrutiny. The question now is will Bachmann, Santorum, and Perry remain in political stasis. Maybe Newt will rise again but if someone doesn’t fill the vacuum Ron Paul is more likely to win Iowa than Mitt Romney.
If he can keep Romney away from the crown then I don’t care but the last thing I want is Ron to pave the way for Mitt in future primaries. I just hope to hell whatever happens the race thins after Iowa. The thing that can not happen is that Romney squeak out a win in Iowa. That would be a disaster.
Note the numbers for Bachmann....
I still entertain the following:
What would happen Paul and Bachmann could bite the bullet and go P. / V.P.?
Would be a shockwave IMHO. Republican establishment wouldn’t be able to do a thing about it - Democrats would crap in their pants.
Doubt it though...Paul would likely say “No!” to the idea.
=8-)
I think these statistics qualify for the Mark Twain award.
