This is not a blanket indictment of all teachers. But, it seems there is a growing number of twisted, perverted and psychologically disturbed people entering the teaching profession -- and a good number of them are just plain DUMB.

Publik skoolz are run by perverts and pedophiles. See reports about the new mandated sex-ed course for 11 year olds in NYC.

Another weirdo takes himself off the streets, I hope.
"A Green River Community College spokesman said Ammons was a volunteer cross country and track coach at the college. He last coached the team on Nov. 12 -- four days after the allegations were brought to police."

"A Kent Meridian High School teacher and coach accused of offering a 16-year-old student $50 for sex and sending her a photo of his penis..." Every time I read a story like this, I'm simply gobsmacked that any sentient human could even remotely think this might possibly be a good idea....

Dating just isn’t what it used to be. The girl should have told him to use the $50 to have corrective surgery.

Gee, aren’t we glad that as a society we’ve stupidly believed for years that teachers are worthy of being a protected class and blindly let them now, as a profession, make twice what the average private sector worker makes for what is more or less a part time job?
The teaching professions legacy? Occupy Wall Street and pedophila.
Time to give them a raise, right?

Just thinking. Could it be all the “sickology” teachers have to take as part of their teacher education or is it just not enough screening before they get teaching jobs or is it that they project themselves into the teenage mentality which develops into these situations.

If you are a pervert/weirdo you go where the kids are. Its a terrible shame because I believe most people are decent and would never do anything like this.
Otherwise, I agree that anyone who can should GET YOUR KIDS OUT OF PUBLIC SCHOOL!

The thing that bothers me is that they put him on “administrative leave” which most likely means that he is still getting paid. It is almost impossible to get rid of a bad teacher.

I used to call public schools "public skrewels". I think I'll have to start using that word again.
