The thing that bothers me is that they put him on “administrative leave” which most likely means that he is still getting paid. It is almost impossible to get rid of a bad teacher.

Yes. I read the story in our local paper. On PAID administrative leave. So he gets a couple of extra months of holiday time, then a slap on the wrist, and back to 60K/ yr. for 8 months of work.
