WICHITA, Kan. (AP) Koch Industries is looking to fill 2,500 job openings across the nation thanks to the commercial growth of most of its subsidiaries.
Company officials said most of the 300 job openings at Koch Industries and 10 of its subsidiaries in Wichita are new, professional positions in areas such as information technology, accounting and engineering, The Wichita Eagle (http://bit.ly/t02aP1) reported Friday.
"Most of the job openings are due to growth as opposed to replacement," said Jeff Morris, director of talent development for Koch Industries.
"It's a good problem to have," he said of the overall job openings. "You'd like to be able to fill positions as quickly as you can. But we are selective and find the best we can hire. It's not necessarily a quick catch-up."

Thanks for the context, I picked up the quote far downstream.
As bad as things have gotten for us, I would NEVER think of applying with GM, REI, Starbucks, Google, Progressive Ins or, for a government job.
Things go better with Koch.
Can't say I understand your reasoning on a couple of levels. First, taking care of one's family is a man's major role. Second, true conservatives are willing to reward excellence. If Progressive Insurance was significantly superior to all other insurance companies, it would make little sense to reward a worse company by going with them out of spite.
It is not out of spite. It is a commitment to survival. Ever dollar invested in a company like progressive or REI is a dollar that is going towards the deconstruction of the American heritage and our security. Working for them would be working against my grand kids.
...the same goes for every dollar spent with them. People make a big deal of buying American. I call avoiding companies that pour money into the progressive agenda “buying freedom”.
