KUHNER: Obama’s Watergate [Officials cover up culpability for gun smuggling and murder]

A year ago this week, U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was murdered. He died protecting his country from brutal Mexican gangsters. Two AK-47 assault rifles were found at his death site. We now know the horrifying truth: Agent Terry was killed by weapons that were part of an illegal Obama administration operation to smuggle arms to the dangerous drug cartels. He was a victim of his own government. This is not only a major scandal; it is a high crime that potentially reaches all the way to the White House, implicating senior officials. It is President Obamas Watergate.
Operation Fast and Furious was run by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and overseen by the Justice Department. It started under the leadership of Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr...
[snip] Mr. Holder insists he was unaware of what took place until after media reports of the scandal appeared in early 2011. (lier, lier pants on fire...)
Mr. Holder and his aides have given misleading, false and contradictory testimony on Capitol Hill. Perjury, obstruction of justice and abuse of power - these are high crimes and misdemeanors. Mr. Holder should be impeached.

Holder and Obama are lying....how stupid do they think those watching this unfold, how stupid do they think we are! Impeaching Holder will most likely never happen as he is Black and a close friend of Obama's, both are ardently racist...keep this video for closer to the election but please pass around now.

A picture of the future if we allow government to be in charge of firearms.

The buck not only stops there..in this case you can bet that it started there too.

The media are still calling F&F a "botched" operation, as if there was ever any intent of tracking the weapons.
There wasn't. There is therefore no resemblance between F$F and the Bush Administration program, Operation Gunrunner. This was purely a criminal enterprise designed to empower Mexican cartels and justify and international arms control treaty. IOW, arm criminals while disarming Americans.
See tag line.

The importance of this article is that this is the 1st time that a major newspaper has used the Watergate analogy to describe this mess. And Kuhner's argument is spot on. His conclusion that Obama is behind this is obvious from the fact that so many agencies were involved. He must have signed off on it.

One way or another, Obama will go out in disgrace.
Caligula comes to mind.

Probably wouldn't do any good. While there may be a "Sam Ervin" in the Republican Party, there are no Howard Bakers or Lowell Weickers in the Democrat Party and certainly no John Deans in Obama's inner circle.
In addition, instead of helping to drive the investigation and the story, the MSM would do their best to suppress it and then turn around and attack Republicans for chasing down rabbit trails in an attempt to persecute Obama--because he's black.

this is the 1st time that a major newspaper has used the Watergate analogy to describe this mess. I was thinking the same thing - 1st time in a major newspaper ..... but I disagree on one point: this is not 'Watergate' .... it is Watergate x 100.

You'd think that with all of the Republican Presidential candidates and Republicans in Congress, you'd think we'd be hearing a lot more about this...
To: yoe

There will be no prosecutions. A few will be allowed to "retire" with full benefits. They are all scum and they exist to line their pockets and cover each other's butts.
They ALL MUST GO! Every. Stikin'. One. Of. Them.

It is not true, Holder had to agree there are huge differences between what they did.
To: edcoil
Well, it’s good if it’s true “Bush started it” because Obama perverted it and is now stonewalling it for Bush... (sarc off)
Like the posters said it above, this government and Zero type governmentoids are disorganzied the heck out and they love it. So every flaws they picked from Bush they inflamed them and now they blame Bush... ah ah ah... very funny, good one.
Government and the “Obama victims” of so called “Bush’ obviously have their heads up their arses, victims or not.
They all are evil children who want their “child support” money.
