Oh brother. He already presumably took vows to be faithful to his wife when he got married. The rest is between him and his wife. This is just a vulgar and unnecessary campaign gimmick.
To: Sub-Driver
Newt takes no-adultery pledge Didn't he already do that each time he got married, promising to forsake all others?

In all liklihood, Viagra won’t work on newt, but he could always go for an implant.

I would have liked to hear him say it when he still had some sex drive left, but at 67, not so much.

Isn’t that what you do when you say your vows and get MARRIED??
I think this was a moronic move on his part.
To: Sub-Driver
In a 2011 interview with David Brody of the Christian Broadcasting Network Gingrich addressed his past infidelities by saying, "There's no question at times in my life, partially driven by how passionately I felt about this country, that I worked too hard and things happened in my life that were not appropriate."We'd have to hope that he doesn't fall "too passionately for his country" again I guess, or there would be no guarantees.

Betcha Calista took care of this aspect of his personality with a tightly worded pre-nup.

How about the no big government pledge?
no progressive pledge?
no political correctness pledge?
no spending pledge?
no trampling the constitution pledge?
I could go on for days!!!

I think signing pledges is dumb And an oral pledge ain't worth the paper it's written on..

His own daughter says he has really changed. She ought to know.

There is nothing at this link that refutes the quote from the Salon.com article. Some incorrect versions of the story have Newt “asking” for a divorce while his estranged wife is on her “deathbed.” What Newt’s daughter clarifies is that Newt wanted to “discuss” the details of the divorce agreement with his wife, in the presence of their children, while she was in the hospital recovering from surgery for removal of a benign growth. Newt has admitted the truth of the “clarified” version.
