Romney gets defensive by claiming his Romneycare wasn’t FEDeral, but state.
Romney says they didn’t raise taxes.
[Chris Wallace caught Romney on that last year — MA got Federal funds to set up Romneycare, so they did NOT have to raise taxes — until years later, after Romney was out as governor.]

I don’t think Mitt did good saying “I wanted to give people health insurance”.

Gingrich now claims that ‘mandates’ are — but they weren’t when ‘the Republicans’ and Gingrich were for them in the early 1990s.

Newt said multiple times that the only reason Romney didnt become a career politician was that he lost to Ted Kennedy in 94. I like that Newt got Romney to admit it was true.

I dont think Mitt did good saying I wanted to give people health insurance.
No, because what he did was FORCE us to buy it (and then fine us if we don't).

Then he wants to bet Perry. Perry smartly did not take the idiot Mitty up on it.

I thought the Mormons were anti-gambling.
Did I just see Mitt Romney offer to make a $10,000 bet (handshake and all) with Rick Perry?

The funny thing about Bachmann is that she’s 100% right, but she irritates me every time she opens her mouth.

The fact that the Republicans allow liberals to ‘moderate’ their debates shows that it is nothing but a dog and pony show.
They allow their opponents to define them.
They are not serious.
