My Blood Dad is dying in great pain.
He has broken his hip the 3rd time. His vitals are too poor to operate.
They don't even know if they can move him at all due to the great pain.
He has reportedly made his peace with God and forgiven everyone.
Please pray that he graduates from this life as painlessly and quickly as The Lord would wish for him.
Sigh. BIG SIGH.
This is mother's birthday and the day her father died.
Sigh.
I know some prayer threads are in this forum. If this is not fitting, please move it where it is.
I'm more than a little discomboobalated.
Thanks in advance for all the prayers and caring so typical of all of you.
God bless you and yours. Merry Christmas.... may your Dad rest peacefully in the arms of the Lord.
AMEN! AMEN! AMEN!
THX THX.
Much appreciate your priceless prayers.
May God richly bless you accordingly.
Ears and tail drooped.
But do not be borne down by this: He has conquered Death.
I read in the thread that your Dad was a Christian...he's up there waiting (and dare I suggest, possibly praying for?) you.
And you know that many of us down here are praying for you too.

Blessings my FRiend.
AMEN, BRO.
THX THX FOR YOUR KIND AND COMPASSIONATE PRAYERS.
Actually, I don’t balk at the idea that graduated believers pray for us.
I just don’t see any Scriptural mandate nor even allowance for our addressing our prayers TO THEM.
God’s best to you and yours. Much appreciate your kindnesses in this long ordeal.
TRUE TRUE.
PRAISE GOD FOR THAT.
AMEN!
Prayers for you and for the entire family.
Thankful to the One Who conquered death!
Joya
Prayers for you and your family. Best regards.
My condolences to you, Quix. You’re in my thoughts and prayers. When you lift your eyes to heaven, you can imagine him there with the Lord. I hope that gives you comfort.
May God bless you and yours.
AMEN! AMEN!
THX THX BIG FOR ALL YOUR PRAYERS AND EMPATHETIC SUPPORT AND KINDNESSES.
May God bless you and draw your dad speedily to Salvation. Maybe some of these prayer warriors will pray toward that, too.
Precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of
His saints.
Quix, your Dad is numbered as one of them. He is more alive right now, then he ever was on earth.
This is when our faith must become our sight.
We are not like men who have no hope. Celebrate his life, and that his job here is over. No more pain; no more sorrow.
We have the hope of reunion, thanks to Jesus Christ, who conquered death, sin, and hell for us. The Holy Spirit testifies to these things to you, and He is your Comforter.
The true meaning of Christmas was the gift of God with us, Emmanuel. The promise of the Babe was to be the Savior we all needed. The Savior your Dad needed.
Thank God for His unspeakable gift.Bless you Quix, this hour and in the days ahead.
THANKS TO YOU TWO FOR YOUR PRICELESS PRAYERS.
Yes, that is an encouraging thought. THX THX.
Blessings to you two and to those you love.
Post 388 was meant for you.

You have been a significant blessing in this struggle. THX THX.
Please accept my sincerest condolences, Quix. You are in my prayers. It is so hard to lose a parent. God bless.
Thank you Quix.. I lost my Dad last year... miss him.
Into the hands of our Lord... Praise Jesus!
More humble Prayers for you as well Quix as the burden is lifted...
THANKS TONS FOR YOUR THOUGHTFUL CARING AND PRAYERS.
You are an FR Treasure in behalf of God’s Kingdom and the Republic.
THX THX.
THANKS BIG for your understanding—the understanding of one who’s gone before.
Dad was a rough hewn hard worker . . . welder, pipe fitter . . . corpsman in the Navy . . . didn’t know what to do with me. Tended to be harsh, assaultive verbally, critical etc.
He mellowed SOME in his last years. PRAISE GOD FOR THAT. He showed some increased interest in seeing me beyond assaulting me for not seeing him more.
I always figured the phone and road worked both directions. I still initiated virtually all the contacts.
He related better to toddlers. When kids got old enough to verbalize strong opinions, he didn’t tend to relate well with them.
Nevertheless, he was always kind-hearted and generous to kids of friends; strangers in need to a point.
I think a big part of my grieving is that in spite of my best efforts . . . there could not have been a better relationship. That was always very frustrating and sad.
Soooooooo. Heaven will certainly be better on all those scores, PRAISE GOD.
Thanks for your kind reply.
AMEN! AMEN! AMEN!
Thanks for your kind understanding and priceless prayers. Understanding, true understanding is sooo priceless in this world.
May God reward you with tons of His favor and with the understanding of those close to you still here.
